Io ci tornero! Grazie Roberto! Grazie Expedia!

I have mixed reviews about the place. On the plus side it is very central, close to many museums, clean and the owners are very helpful and welcoming. On the downside, it is noisy, the overall feeling Is a bit tatty and feels more like a youth hostel than a b&b from a service perspective. My overall rating would be 3.5. Respectable.

We stayed two nights. The "hotel" is in like an apartment complex. We were met by Luigi and "Roberto" to show us the room. They were both very helpful especially Luigi who helped us get our bus tickets! They were very attentive to our needs. The room was spacious and very clean. We had a nice balcony to stand on. It felt like we were living locals. No breakfast per se but a kitchen to use and they had espresso, water, breakfast pastries and we could use the kitchen as if it was our own. We would recommend staying here.

Logement nickel, propre, très bien situé, accueil très serviables, cuisine pratique. Mais quartier très bruyant
What a fantastic find in the centre of real Naples. A quiet, calm oasis in Naples at the heart of where real Neapolitans live. Our four bedded room was large, convenient and scrupulously clean, with a wrap around balcony. Where better to watch the lively, vibrant streets below for the geniune Naples experience. Our two children really enjoyed the experience. Access to the well stocked kitchen made our B & B feel like appartment living. The friendly proprietor lives around the corner and came a run to help us at any time. Pack you tea bags now (YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN TEA) and experience real Naples in clean comfort.

We are family of four who stayed in the quad room in June. We got lost coming from the train station and called the owner. (My husband speaks Italian, so I can't say for sure how much English is spoken). He came to get as at the Duomo and took us around the corner to the B & B. On the way he stopped at a church to show us a Carvaggio.
The Napolibed takes up one floor of an older building (no elevator) and overlooks the narrow streets of the historical zone.
Our room (the blue room) was very spacious, although the bathroom was very tiny. There was a small alcove accessed through french doors with two twin beds for our children. On the wall above the doorway in the children's area was an original fresco dating back from the 16th century. If I understood correctly, this part of the room used to be a balcony and the fresco was part of the exterior decor.
I did not find the room noisy at all. One of my children complained that the alcove was noisy. I slept there one night and found the sound did penetrate their window - which was a different type from the window in our room.
There is such an array of hotels and B & B's available in Naples. We chose Napolibed because as parents, we wanted to be near to our children, yet have a private space and we were happy with the layout of the room. As guests, you have use of the kitchen which is well stocked. We loved staying the historical centre and would recommend it to other families who are independent travellers on a budget.
