I called to check-in, and they notified me that they were a satellite hotel, so I had to pick up my keys at their main hotel. I didn’t mind this, but I did mind that when I showed up they said they could not find my reservation. It was at this time that they canceled my reservation all together and told me I could upgrade and stay at their hotel. I didn’t want that so I asked for my refund. I politely told them to please just give me my refund, and not make me have to waste my time to get my money back. They said okay, but they never did, and I had to waste my time calling customer support to get my money back. I understand having to drive to a different location to get some keys, but to waste someone’s time especially when they’re being cooperative with you is just sleezy.
