Moldy bathroom, very loud noises everywhere.

A clean, comfortable room. I would stay there again.

My room, a suite was ok, but given what i paid for, i expected a proper mattress and king bed not 2 x single super thin mattress toppers with a double sheet across them... The shower is ok.. In reality, its a great hostel/young traveller place but its not a 4 star hotel.. by any stretch.. Lino bathroom floors, some rooms dont even have natural light.. reat thing tho is that its next to the train and metro station so for that its great. they hand out ear plugs at reception...not an issue for me but would be for others.

Easy access to trains and trams

a minimalist style of hotel where we were made very welcome. All the staff were friendly and cheerful and incredibly helpful with information and advice. The buffet breakfast was not extensive but the quality was excellent and we were very happy with what was provided. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel but there are a good few within the immediate vicinity. Located right beside Amsterdam Zuid station we were able to get into the centre of the city in about 15 minutes on the Metro and trains were very frequent.
