Our room on the second floor overlooked the river and the ferry to Tavira Island. It was really nice. There is a beautiful sitting area on the second floor too. There are no lifts so pack light! The parking is about 150 m away. The included breakfast was adequate.

They said they offered on site parking not true. No on site parking suppose to have 2 beds she said not available then told me to just pull apart the beds. Booked a balcony room with city views. No city view saw roofs. Small table 1 chair. Bathroom was scary I didn't shower. Cobwebs on the ceiling light. Other staff was nice.

The room was a disgrace. A tiny, tiny room with a cupboard up high in the wall, not a room with a wardrobe like shown in the pictures for the room booking. The bath room was so small I could hardly get into it. There was a step up from the room to the bathroom, another step up to the basin and then another one to the toilet. It was impossible to sit straight on the toilet because your legs hit the wall in front. I do not understand how this rooms is legal. The shower was a cubicle in the corner with multiple sliding sections. Some were broken. There was brown stuff sitting in the shower drain and stains on the shower cubicle floor. The shower did not drain properly. The water built up in the cubicle. The room was nothing like what they and Hotels.com advertise on their websites. I stayed one night only because it was so late when I arrived I had no option to find other accommodation. I paid for 4 nights. The hotel would not refund my money and Hotels.com couldn't care less either. The hotel even put through to Hotels.com and messaged me that they cancelled the booking. No they didn't. I LEFT THE HOTEL because it was so terrible.

Heat/cool system did not keep the set point temperature. The heating system did not work on our last night. Room is very small. Staff were fine. Balcony provides a great view of the river. There is no elevator.

This hotel is older and not fancy. The check-in was easy the room and bed clean, good pillows. The location is amazing. We really liked this property. There is local parking available and the hotel was helpful. We are going back to the area in Feb and staying here.

Great location, good breakfast, friendly, very good value. A traditional house/ hotel which means some older fittings etc - but really nice, really comfortable, just don’t expect everything to be completely modern. Exactly what we wanted/ expected and loved the roof terrace which was a real bonus.

The hotel is situated in the centre of Tavira on the river front and just opposite the ferry to Tavira Island. Lots of good restaurants close by. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, however my bathroom and shower was a little small, but this was only a small issue. The breakfast was good and provided a good start to the day.
