Overall, the accommodation was very centrally located and in a great area. However, it was a bit inconvenient that there was no parking available. Communication was only via WhatsApp at first, and there was no personal welcome, no recommendations, or any small tips about Chania, which we really appreciated in other places we stayed last year.
There was also only one key card for the room, so we always had to coordinate who would take it. At one point, we accidentally locked ourselves out and unfortunately, I had left my phone inside. My partner, who didn’t yet have the accommodation’s contact number saved, tried to call the phone number listed downstairs on the door, but it turned out to be incorrect. This was quite stressful in the moment and could have been avoided with clearer information.
Additionally, when we arrived, the floor was quite dirty, with dust and crumbs.
In general, it was a pleasant stay, but considering all these aspects, it felt a bit too expensive for what you actually get.
