This is a place run by the nuns with all the moral " authority" and "superiority" I never in a million years could have been prepared for.It does not help that hotels.com doesn''t give a big heads up,I never even knew nuns run hotels.I came as I am - a single woman, obviously well of, a smoker(ouside, of course, while they watched from the window), in town for a Green Day concert. Both theirs and mine shock upon the first meeting was palpable and the situation did not improve during a 4-day stay. I myself am a militant atheist due to the horrors of the war in ex-Yugoslavia that I experienced as a young girl.Even though I watched with my own eyes the horrendous things stupid people do to each other in the names of their gods, I have given these nuns all the benefits of all the doubts possible. Suffice to say, they didn't return the favour. A secular, naive person like me still expects people of any god & religion to be better than the rest of us.They are unfortunately still far, far from it. Having seen how they treat completely normal, paying customers I would have paid big money to see how they would treat a beggar or a prostitute who came to their door asking for help. Shame on them! If you are a normal secular person I suggest you stay away. Their looks and attitudes are quaranteed to ruin the stay you paid for and looked forward to.
All that aside, the beds are so small and hard that my hips and back hurt after three nights on them. Think hard before you pay to stay here.
