Highly recommend this hidden GEM right on Nungwi beach hidden along with the other many hotel that are much more expensive and less personable. We easiley booked EXPEDIA all inclusive with airfare and breakfast, however they also have packages with other meal times. Their customer service when communicating or asking questions by email or WhatsApp was great. They have rooms on the ground floor and up 3 stories with beautiful views of the ocean or the gardens. Aprox. 60 min from Zanzibars internationl airport this hotel named Double A Nungwi Beach is gated and secure. You are greeted with smiling faces, cool hand towels that is refreshing, and handed a glass of tasted hibiscus juice. Ready for hotel tour and then shown to our room. Clean and always has hot water. Lovely decorated and the bed is displaying the beauty of their gardens. Astonishing views from the bar and restaurant and pool area. Inclusive breakfast was very good, with mutliple options to pick from. Eggs any way, waffels, freshly melt in your mouth warm donuts and pastries. Fruit, cheese and everything else breaksfast. The menu for lunch and dinner is expansive and you can tell Chef Rashid puts his passion into all of his meals he prepares. Food flavour is big for us and the way he prepared all of our dishes was palatable for a king and queen. There are also indian and vegetarian options. We felt very special with each bite we took. terrible accomodation and no interest in issues

Actual Nightmare ... they charged the same as a 4 star hotel but this is really like a trailer park, aircon took 8 hours to cool the room and didnt work for most of the time, rooms are next to a generator which is very noisy, terrible smell from bathrooms like sewage, cheap mosquito net and bad lights ...good location on the beach but accomodation horrible and restaurant and breakfast v sad

It’s old , and generally low maintenance, pool is terrific and dirty. Breakfast ok, beach outside hotel is good, but much better 200 m further away. Not sure how you can defend 300 usd a day 😂👀 I do not recommend this hotel , only if your rate is a 100 usd a night

I was impressed by the professionalism amd the servoce from the Manager and Staff. I encountered a problem becaise the description of the room (sea view) is misleading..The view was from the balcony and it was only a partial view. I had high expectations of being able to see the sea from my bed. That was definitely not possible. However, the dound of the ocean was a delight. I went to bed and arose with this soothing sound. The hotel os located on a womderful beach that os not too crowded.There is shopping and stores within walking distance of the hotel. You can walk the beach snd run into other hotels and bars. However, I discovered meals prepared by Double A were delicious. Please don't judge the food by the breakfast which was mediocre. Again, the staff did what they could to accommodate. Overall, I enjoyed my stay,, thanks to

Vi blev dejlig overrasket over fantastisk service og venligheden blandt personalet. Og så er hotellet kun en trappe ned til den mest fantastiske strand. Vi havde tilmeldt os jule-galla middag inkl. en seljtur i solnedgangen.. Alt var rigtig godt med god og varieret mad. Det eneste holdet godt kunne have, var fri adgang til drikkevand, det havde vi vender os til andre steder påZanzibar og i varmen ville det være en ekstra god service

Fantastiskt hotell med bra läge.

Hotellet ligger direkt vid havet och rum med havsutsikt rekommenderas. Branta stentrappor leder ner till vattnet från en privat liten strand vid hotellpoolen dit inga strandförsäljare får komma. Det går att bada i havet både vid hög- och lågvatten. Mycket trevlig personal och bra service. Genomgående renligt och hög standard, även om vi hade vissa problem på rummet som fick åtgärdas. Något höga priser i restaurangen jämfört med närliggande platser på stranden. Kan sammantaget verkligen rekommenderas!

Bonito hotel en frente de la playa , la alberca y la cercania del mar es muy atractivo, el desayuno fue de los mas malos y lo que salva el hotel son los empleados muy amables , por que la comida esta sobrepreciada , nos toco ver personas vendiendo algo al parecer ilegal y traer mujeres con las que estuvieron realizando un espectáculo sexual no apto para ninos , pero nadie les dijo nada incluso los ayudaban , fuera de ese hecho bochornoso fue una buena estancia

We had an 8 night stay at this lovely resort. Our rooms were on the beach and beside the pool. The rooms were fab and were cleaned every day. The food was good. All excellent. However, the main selling point of this hotel is the staff. We had wonderful friendly waiters - Emanuel, Mohammed, Erik, Abdul and Said - who provided excellent service. We would highly recommend Double A.

Tiny dirty pool, no gym, 1st Room (Room B4) roof full of Mold and presence of a roach, in the other side staff is really profesional and freindly and the food is awsome, the manager upgraded me to a oceanside room when I did the complain, that room was available from the beginning but they pretend the opposite.
