Check-in could have been better, we wasted around 2 hours, as it was peak season and there was only 1 lady staff at the Reception. The hotel is at a very good location for proximity to the Golden temple. The room was okay. Cleanliness was basic. Linen was weathered. Basically its a old hotel repackaged with some ITC goodness.

Pros: staff was very helpful. Room service and calling cabs ok. AC was working very well. Room was very clean. Complimentary breakfast buffet was great. Cons: Fridge was not cold at all. Inside of fridge was moldy. Toilet required 2 full flushes. Toilet smelled bad after flushing. Washroom wall mirror was too dark to use.

Only USP of the property is the location and security guard of it. Even when I was the first one to checkin on a Sunday morning, I had told that the hotel is full and I cannot be given a room with a double bed. The breakfast was not included in the room tariff and I had paid Rs.1000 taxes per person but the taste was pathetic and I have sever stomach ache after it. This is the worst fortune property I have visited so far. Other issues include TV not working, no staff member was available to help with it, the staff member came to the room to help after calling more than 5 times and had to wait really long for it.

Breakfast was a boring selection of the same items repeated daily. Towels do not look fresh and clean. No floor mat/towel in the toilet and therefore had to improvise with one of the towels. Laundry service was ineffective and hotel staff could not offer any alternatives. Staff could not speak or understand English well except for the manager.
