Our stay at Royalton Chic Antigua was extremely disappointing, despite its “luxury” label. The outdoor dining made meals uncomfortable, and food service was slow, with limited drink options and frequent shortages. The overwater restaurant required a tip after a long wait for appetizers, despite being all-inclusive. The “Diamond Club Butler” service was ineffective, with limited availability and ignored requests. The room had a cockroach, the fridge wasn’t restocked, and there was no minibar. Pools were dirty, elevators were broken, and there was a persistent sewer smell. Towels were scarce, and despite online check-in, the process was lengthy. Airport transfers weren’t included, and the private transfer we paid for wasn’t private. The entertainment schedule was inaccurate, and excursions were canceled. Staff appeared unhappy, and service felt forced, with tipping being necessary for minimal attention. Our anniversary was ignored, and inappropriate comments were made about my acne. Overall, the resort failed in service, cleanliness, amenities, and hospitality, making it a complete letdown for the price. We would never return and advise against staying there.

This property has a way to go before it should be considered part of the Autograph Collection. The Diamond Club section appears new. The beach is amazing and the staff and people are very friendly. The food options leave a lot to be desired. Breakfast was typically the best mean of the day and the pastries were very good. The Caribbean restaurant was the best food and the steakhouse was decent. The over the water restaurant has a very limited selection and should not be advertised as a seafood restaurant if it only serves sushi. My husband enjoyed the sushi and said it was good. The room accommodations are crazy. When I made the booking on Expedia the room selection was an oceanfront room with “either 2 queen beds or a king bed” Weeks ahead of my trip I messaged the hotel and requested a King bed. Despite this we were given a room with two queen beds for a couple celebrating our wedding anniversary. The staff at the check in insisted that I “requested” two queen beds and offered to see if they could change it if another guest checked out. This made no sense as the hotel bookings are made in advance and they should have been able to tell exactly which rooms would be available based on occupancy. We were also offered a suite that was available if we paid an additional $1,800.00. Which I refused. Despite this we were never contacted again and spent a week in a room with two queen beds. The butler service is a nice touch and Monique was great! Long way to go. False advertising.

we paid for the upgrade to diamond club . they advertised a private swim up pool bar. they did not staff a bartender any day the week we were there. we had to get out of the pool to order drinks. they ran out of beer almost every day. ran out of food most days.

Overall this property is OK. The staff was cool, but I feel they only went out of their way if you spoke up for yourself. Them deluxe rooms were very uncomfortable in regards to mosquitoes and the showers were definitely outdated with a hint of mold in it. I would go back but I’d stay in the better rooms. The building I was in was Ghetto

The beach was beautiful, gym was very nice. Not many food options and time restrictions at restaurants left us hungry a lot of the time. Failure to restock our room with essential items such as toilet paper, soap, water, coffee - even after requesting. Probably wouldn’t come back or recommend.

We found the resort was at a good standard and all the staff were super friendly to make sure your stay was enjoyable. The fitness team were great every morning. VIBE team were vibing and the star on the restaurant front was JennaStar always welcoming with a friendly smile. Management these are the people that make your hotel memorable so please pass on our thanks to these guys and reward as you see fit
