Beach view was good. Bar was good, food was good and room was clean, but was not equipped with the essentials like a washcloth. Although we asked for washcloths, we didn’t receive any until the next day. Staff need more training on customer service, and greeting the guest.

AVOID. DO NOT STAY

Our stay at Royalton Chic Antigua was extremely disappointing, despite its “luxury” label. The outdoor dining made meals uncomfortable, and food service was slow, with limited drink options and frequent shortages. The overwater restaurant required a tip after a long wait for appetizers, despite being all-inclusive. The “Diamond Club Butler” service was ineffective, with limited availability and ignored requests. The room had a cockroach, the fridge wasn’t restocked, and there was no minibar. Pools were dirty, elevators were broken, and there was a persistent sewer smell. Towels were scarce, and despite online check-in, the process was lengthy. Airport transfers weren’t included, and the private transfer we paid for wasn’t private. The entertainment schedule was inaccurate, and excursions were canceled. Staff appeared unhappy, and service felt forced, with tipping being necessary for minimal attention. Our anniversary was ignored, and inappropriate comments were made about my acne. Overall, the resort failed in service, cleanliness, amenities, and hospitality, making it a complete letdown for the price. We would never return and advise against staying there.

I would never do another stay at any of the Royaltons. I’ve stayed in Mexico and didn’t care for it. I decided to give this one a try. Yeah it was worse here. Called because my ac wasn’t working in our room. It was so hot. There isn’t enough restaurants on site. Not only is there not enough restaurants there wasn’t enough staff at the restaurant. Waiting on food is just not a thing I’m use to. Some of the staff had attitudes and that was irritating in itself. I’m very disappointed because I thought I would have a pleasant stay. The food wasn’t good at all. Still upset about not having air for half of my stay. They gave us the run around for everything. We made the best out of the situation. But the royalton isn’t for me.

Friendly but very unorganized. Room not ready upon check in. Told to go pick up our costumes for carnival and our room would be ready when we got back. Still a wait when we got back and I was not feeling well. We were then taken to our room by the bell boy instead of our butler i might add. We complained to the head butlers multiple times with no resolution. Food was okay but we only got the chance to eat at the buffet. Aside from the one butler we had trouble with the rest of the staff was exceptional and Chris was very attentive when he was on shift.

My first actual All Inclusive experience and it went well. It was a spur of the oment trip but I thought the amenities and atmosphere was worth the stay.

The spa was great but the hydro area was so nosy that I could fully enjoy my treatment. My room had cold water for the first day and a half. There were soap scum and finger prints on the show door. My mini bar had finished empty water bottles left in there and it wasn’t restocked. My pillows and sheets had stains on them and it took four day of me complaining for the cleaning people to remove food out of my room. Lastly the room smelled damp nd moldy. I was quite disappointed because I stayed there last year and was looking forward to have an amazing experience as I did the first time. Employees look like they barely want to work which reflect in the service. I was very disappointed as I referred 3 family members to stay there as well.

Staffing is definitely a factor that needs work as I was told one thing by staff and other guests where allowed to do the opposite. Dress codes should applied to all and no staff should snatch anything from a guests .

The food was good. The scenery was amazing! The staff were great! Shoutouts to the staff Zion- check in area, Bishop-Bell personnel, Erna- swimming pool bar, Josh- Excite bar, and all the other staff! 10/10 service!

My flight was delayed, so I arrived close to midnight. A staff member in a pink shirt helped check me in. I overheard another guest complaining she was placed in the wrong room and felt uneasy. That made me double-check mine and I found I was placed in a garden view room, not the luxury pool view I paid for. The room smelled musty, had mosquitoes on the ceiling, and had double beds instead of the king I booked. I requested a change and was told the room was being switched. When I arrived, I asked to see it, and although they insisted my items had been moved, they hadn’t. I’m glad I checked. The new room had a pool view and king bed, but again, the musty smell lingered. The minibar only had one Fanta. I asked for water which never came. After following up the next day, it was eventually restocked. Staff seemed to try, but lacked training and info. I doubt they’re happy with current management. The spa was excellent – 10/10. The breakfast buffet was repetitive with no variety. Dinner at Hunter’s was disappointing – 5/10. Drinks at the bar were good. The hotel is in a great location, but I wouldn’t return. Too many small issues added up, and it didn’t feel like the luxury experience I expected.

My entire stay at was horrible this is the first hotel i stayed at that didnt treat guest that are celebrating their birthday nice the 1st room they place me in was gloomy and dark, the second room had dirty floors and mold all over the bathroom any other hotel would do a upgrade free lf charge. They changed me. They are money grabber. Theh ruin my birthday i am going to be escalating all my concerns to cooperate i even asked for 30min late check and theh refused me never have i dealt with such poor management. Staff trying to hit on the guest like respect people space. I would like to thank Miguela and Terrell for the best they did especially Miguela. Everyone else from management to front desk was awful. Never again.
