Advertised 2 free drinks with stay on hotels.com however there was no record of this on the booking. Images show a rooftop bar which no longer exists. TV no longer has smart features and limited channels. Room was like a sauna. There is aircon in the lobby but nowhere else in the hotel. We had 1 desk tan which just moved warm air around, the window only opens a crack onto an incredibly noisy street below so not really conducive to a good nights sleep.

We booked two rooms we were in a room that looked onto a wall (side of the building) which was ok. Others were allocated a floor above and had a room looking onto the front of the property unfortunately they heard the music in the neighbouring bars till 2am then everyone leaving till 4am then the beer cellers were being replenished at 7am. Other than this noise the hotel was excellant

Hi we have stayed at ropewalks quite a few times now and it has been great However I stayed over on Friday 6th June and booked a triple room as it was the only one left so that was fine we ended up getting there and it was a disability room which I didn’t book I rang the reception originally asking for a tv remote that wasn’t in the room and stated that we had a disability room but they said they was fully booked I’m not best pleased with this as I wouldn’t of booked in a disability room and you guys didn’t tell me that it was going to be took the money and shoved us in I understand if it was fully booked but I don’t like the fact you lied and said I’ve got a classic room which I booked and putting us in there without telling us before hand I say this because both the toilet and bed was covered in black small hair which we’ve never had a problem with and in the shower bit was yellow marks on the floor in which we had to scrub off to feel comfortable having a. Shower the toilet was not kept clean As for this I would like to see some compensation as we was lied to after we paid to go into a. Room that wasn’t clean or the room I booked

Great location. Super staff. Room average. Had to shut windows at night due to excessive noise. Shame the room rate was raised by £75 on the night Bruce Springsteen was playing Anfield Stadium ( Sheer profiteering as far as we’re concerned) Breakfast excellent in Masons attached.

Loved the Ropewalks! The hotel was clean with helpful staff and easily accessible from the train station and central Liverpool. I loved the space in the rooms and the on-site bar. The only disappointment was that after a long day there was no room service which would be my only negative.
