Some disappointment

Disappointed with lack of fridge & microwave. Very sad breakfast offerings as well. Didn't come to gamble but very surprised that casino opens on the late side (11 a.m.) compared to other places we've gone.

Smoky smell is a turn off

Room was beautiful and comfortable... lobby reeked of smoke from the casino. I requested a room far away from casino after reading many posts regarding that, so we didn't have issue in our room

We checked in and went to our room. The toilet wouldn't stop running. The gal at the front desk said that she could put us in a different room. I told her that wasn't necessary. Just send someone up to fix it. Oh, there's no one on staff to do that today. She gave us another room. It was a smoking room. It smelled like a dirty ashtray. We stayed anyway. I will say, the beds and pillows were comfortable.

The room walls are very thin. I could hear a normal conversation in the room behind me. They were not loud and I could hear most of the conversation

The biggest negative was the smoke. For a non smoker it is hard to tolerate. The room has no fridge & microwave. The pillows were just mangled & horrible. Pros would be the excellent service by the gentleman waiter at the sports bar/ restaurant. The food was very good too.

Mattress on both beds were hard, pillows were old and thin. Rooms were hot, couldn’t cool them off. Hallways smelled of stale smoke. We did enjoy the service and food at the sports bar. Didn’t venture into the casino.

Would stay somewhere else next time

Had a king room the bed felt like we were sleeping on the floor and only 3 pillows. Breakfast included but was something kids would be served for school lunch. Nothing hot at all. Very disappointed. That was one of the main reasons I booked there as it said breakfast was included and that normal one and biscuits and gravy, waffles, sausage stuff like like that on the weekends.

Small things could improved.

They need to update to kuerig type coffee makers in the rooms. The little one cup filters always taste bad. The pillows were hard. The heater worked well.1.71 percent on the slots. Thsts in We had a good time in the casino winning a little to keep us playing for an hour or more. I checked and the casino pays 91.6 percent back on the slots in the top 5 in Iowa. Wslmart sells kcup coffee makers for $20.

Overall it was a good experience. Our big issue was there being no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Bar and grill in building had friendly staff and good food. Bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was a big fail.
