Cottage Style is the Best!

Love the stay at this cottage! Like home feeling and all the amenities you could need! Having all the comfort & quiet you need! No slamming doors and noise of running in hallway and people above & below walking around like they are in a marching band and not hotel room? It’s so nice to have place to sit outside and relax or inside with the beautiful fireplace burning . Cottage is mich preferred over the hotel stays any day It is a “home away from home “ and better price for what you get by far!!

Great property, reasonably priced.

Great stay for travelers. Clean, well maintained property. Bed was comfortable enough and the bedding was super comfy. Small kitchenette with everything you should need if you decide to dine in. Quiet area, but close to downtown. If there was a negative, it would be the tiny (by today's standards) TV, which we unfortunately had more time to watch than planned, as the event we traveled for was canceled. Would recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Just what we needed

This cottage was perfect! After traveling for a few weeks staying in different hotels we wanted something a little more homey and this was it, so happy I found it. It's a cute older home split into 3 separate cottages, adorably decorated, nice jetted tub, robe and soft towels, big comfortable bed, cozy love seat sofa/bed, wonderfully warm fireplace heaters, fuzzy blankets, stove, dishes, tea, coffee, pastry basket for breakfast, and a patio with a little fenced in yard. Wonderful 100 year old cottage in a historic area

We stayed in the 2 bedroom Barkley Cottage for a week with our family of four. Check in was easy, we received a door code before we arrived. There are three “cottages” which are all in the same 1924 duplex house. Each has a separate exterior entrance. The 2 bedroom cottage is one half of the original duplex, while the other half has been retrofitted into two smaller one bedroom cottages. Our cottage had a family room, dining room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It was sparkling clean, and very tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace in the family room, and made good use of the kitchen to cook several meals. It had all the pots, pans, tools, and utensils we needed to cook a variety of meals. Keep in mind the house is 100 years old, so it has all the creaks and quirks of an old house. We like this sort of thing, and thought it was perfect. The neighborhood around the house is the best part. We walked every day and covered nearly every street within a mile or two radius, and in my opinion, the 8 block stretch of Arch Street (where the house is located on) going south is the nicest stretch of historical homes from the 1880s through the 1920s in the whole city. Its also only a 10 minute walk over to the very cool shops and restaurants on South Main Street. That being said, it’s a urban area and there are some sketchy characters passing through, so you might want to do your exploring during the day rather than at night.

Communication was excellent. They answered all of my questions prior to arriving. Loved the breakfast they left in the refrigerator - nice touch. Loved the fenced in backyard where I could go outside with them without being on leashes. Very clean. We felt safe walking the neighborhood with our dogs. The street lights were on and we felt safe walking at different times with the pups. It was nice they left a water bowl, towel to dry off their paws if needed and poop bags. Very nice touch. I would love to return in the future.

This stat exceeded my expectations! My daughter had a one day surgery and we needed a place to stay so u could care for her and love on her...this was the lerfect spot. This was like home, the amentities were perfect and it had everything we needed. The sheets and towels were the best i had ever experienced! The soap was to die for and thw tub.... oh my goodness! The tub is huge and so relaxing. The shower has great water temperature and pressure. The landscape was beautifully placed and now i need to know how Mrs Staci is able to grow ferns right out of the ground in numerous locations! I love these cottages and this will be my go-to everytime I am in Little Rock.

Host literally thought of everything and had special touches in every room. SPA tub was delightful. Breakfast basket was delicious. Decor made you feel like you were in someplace special. Everything was spotless and clean.I left my earrings in the china dish on the dresser and the host mailed them back immediately. I definitely will be booking here again in the future.

What a pleasant surprise of a B&B in Little Rock! Stayed with my mom and my dog during a cross country road trip and this beautiful little bungalow duplex was the perfect stop. The neighborhood is so charming and quiet, the yard was PERFECT for my dog and the house itself is beautifully maintained. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom amenities made this a no brainer over any hotel in the area. Lastly, our host was able to accommodate breakfast for us with short notice since we made the reservation same day. Will definitely be back! Thank you.
