Such a fun stay at ITH Santa Barbara!

Everyone at the hostel, employees and other hostel goers alike, were so friendly and welcoming! We really enjoyed participating in the group activities the hostel offered. Great accommodations too - comfy bed, clean bathrooms, fun lobby to hang out. And i would be remiss not to mention the awesome make-your-own pancake breakfast. We would 100% stay at ITH again!

Santa Barbara is absolutely overpriced and so is this hostel. The hostel is nice, staff is very friendly. The comon areas are small but comfortable. In the dorm, you can sit on all beds wheter you're on the top or bottom bunk. Each bed has its own light and outlets and a light. But there are 10 beds cramped in the small rooms and absolutely no room for luggage inside the room. The lockers are in the hallway so you'd better be well organised and ready to get in your luggage in the middle of the hallway. Breakfast is included but you have to make your own

Good day room circulation addition recommend

Place was clean and nice. I would strongly recommend individual fans that clip onto the bed rails for each of the beds for health purposes for guests. Rooms can get quite stuffy with multiple people in them and there's no real circulation unless window is open but it was closed unless we opened it. individual fans for each bed would be fair and affordable resolution to make it more comfortable for those wanting to have them. I would definitely return would just bring my own fan. otherwise it was a great stay. It's nice that they have nightly activities the staff was fun. It's a cool concept and great location right by the train and the beach and so many activities and a Dollar tree walking distance made it more affordable. Thank you each for hospitality!

My only complaint is that I didn’t stay longer! Fantastic, helpful, friendly staff. The property is well cared for both inside and out, and kept very clean. I’m a 70 year old woman traveling by myself, arrived by train, and this hostel is just across the tracks. I was given a beautiful little private room - which was perfect for 1 but would also be suitable for 2 if you don’t mind sharing a full size bed! The shared bathroom was great, spacious and clean. I felt very safe both day and night. Great (complimentary) coffee in the morning along with DIY eggs and pancakes. There’s a full kitchen with everything you need to make /reheat your own food, and a huge refrigerator where you can store your food. I’ll be back!

Great location next to the train station. I got the feeling from the stuff that they don't like what they are doing as they were a bit off. The breakfast was very low quality compare to other hostels I've been.
