This facility was disappointing, starting at check-in when we were told the pool and hot tub were temporarily out of order and had been so "oh, for a few months now." That alone would have been enough to find another place to stay. The handicap-accessible room was only a standard bathtub with a giant shower bench outside the tub instead of a walk-in shower. Calling it run-down is a gift. Our room floor was chipped and gouged in several places. The "easy chair" fabric was worn down to the fabric mesh. The TV entertainment system was so bad that the front desk clerk had to get a master remote control to come reprogram the television to get any channels to watch. The facility is mere blocks from what appears to be a homeless camp. Room sanitation was doubtful because we found used medical diabetic testing supplies on the floor from a previous occupant. There were two refrigerators in the room, one worked, the other was dead in place. Electricity for the coffeemaker and microwave was a daisy chain of electrical cords that the fire marshal would find curious. Another power outlet cover was cracked with parts missing, leaving the inner works partially exposed. The room above ours was party central all night, so decent rest was nil. Breakfast was a cruel joke. All this was reported to the manager but no offer of adjustment or refund was even offered. Never again.
