Overnight stay in downtown, Ermou / Monasteriki area. The room was pretty and very comfortable. The accesss is through a mandatory flight of stairs and then the elevator can be taken up.

Perfect location to walk out directly on the main plaza with shops and restaurants in every direction. Short walk to the Acropolis. Noisy at night as lots of people out having fun. Chris and Bill were very helpful answering questions and arranging transportation in and out of Athens.

Very conveniently located next to Monastiraki square. The cleaning staff was excellent. You check in with a code so no other staff was there. The rooms were nice except the wifi would come and go.

Awesome place to stay in Athens!

We stay in downtown suite the day before our cruise. The room is clean. The employees are very nice, courteous and friendly. Petros even walked us to our location which is around the corner from the main Hotel. He helped us and carry out luggage all the way to our room. Petros is amazing. We asked the front desk on recommendation where to eat locals and she recommended a really good places to eat. We also ate dinner at the rooftop above the main hotel. Amazing view of the Acropolis and surrounding area. Food is good, do make reservation if not good luck in trying to get seating. The downtown suite is closed to the flea market and all the shipping. I would definitely recommend to stay here and when we come back I would definitely stay here again.

In the middle of action

This little self-service hotel is less than 10 mins walk from Syntagma bus station (Metro as well). It is middle of busy street but if you like action, this is the place. And everything was closed by. We walked everywhere you can imagine. It is safe (???) and many shops and restaurant nearby. Communication with hotel stuff is excellent! If you have any issues going up the stairs or you are an older personal, this may not be suitable for you. Elevator is available but you may go up on the stairs for about 20 and plus then elevator is there. We took a room with balcony, you must have that room. Room seems like has been update not long ago. Safety box available but it was bolted in...lol Your complimentary breakfast is available at the different location and less than a minute walk. I just love this place very much. I would like to return when I visit Athen again.

Such an amazing place. I stayed 1 night but next time I will choose it for a longer stay. I loved my room on the 2nd floor. It was so modern, unique and cute. The building is very beautiful and the hotel is brand new. The entrance is located on pedestrian pittoresque street next to all the cafes, restaurant and the most famous shopping street (Ermou). It is 5-10’ away from the archeological sites by foot. Next to the tube.Overall, I highly recommend it.

Downtown Suites by Athens Tower

You need to take 2 lefts and a right out of Athens Tower Hotel which has the view of the Acropolis to get to Downtown Suites by Athens Tower after you check in to get your pin numbers for the door to the hotel and your room. For the free breakfast buffet which was very good but not available until 8am you have to walk back to Athens Tower. We found this a little inconvenient and time consuming over the week. We also were a little concerned as there was no reception desk in the Downtown Suites and the external door was always being left wide open. As the door is on an alleyway this also was concerning. Wifi is poor. The room is small and the bed and shower uncomfortable. That being said, it is well situated within 2 min walk to Monastraki Square and lots of restaurants and shops.

I enjoyed my stay. However, I did a lot of research on this place and nowhere did I see that it didn’t have a hotel reception. So the main hotel, which is Athens Tower is a few steps around the corner away from the downtown suites. If you need anything, need the receptionist, or even your free breakfast it’s all located at the Athens Tower hotel. The downtown suites is more like a condo with just the rooms. I didn’t have an issue with this, but if I had known prior to booking, I might not have booked this hotel because I was traveling by myself, and I really wanted to stay somewhere where there was a receptionist And lobby. But I have no complaints and I did enjoy my stay. The water pressure was great. The AC worked great. I love that they had codes for the main entrance and your own door so you don’t have to carry around a key. But the most incredible part of this day was how walkable it was to everything. The only time I caught a taxi was when I was picked up from the airport and being dropped off to the ferry. Besides that I walked everywhere for three days and it was absolutely amazing. Chris and Angelina were also phenomenal. They are gems to the business. My driver, Andres was also great. Punctual, kind, and helpful

Was ok, but needs a few upgrades on some things

Good shower, the bed was too hard for my taste, the room looks modern, but cold overall. I was in 203 and my room was very dark during the day, as I just had a view to the neighbourbuilding which was very close. It can also be very noisy there drom outside. You need to check-in in another Hotel around the corner, the staff there was very nice. Unfortunately some things that were not the best: light in bathroom, one lamp was not working, and even with, still not the best light in there. Not a lot of space next to the sink and no toiletpaperholder. Also I had nothing to hang at my door that said please don't disturb which was very annoying to got waken up daily by housekeeping. Also can get noisy in the Hotel as there are no carpets in the Hallway to the rooms, you hear everything from outside when people come and go, whst they talk, when they enter their codes to get in their room...

Ett riktigt centralt boende precis vid Monastiraki. Enkelt att checka in med koderna man får. Stort fräscht rum gällande juniorsviten, och nice med balkong över Ermou-gatan. Skön säng, den bästa av alla under vår vistelse bland alla öar i Grekland. Riktigt bra AC. Det enda negativa var en del av städningen, golvet kändes alltid smutsigt och det kom avloppslukt från toan när inte lamporna/ventilationen var på. Undvik frukosten som erbjuds på Athens Tower, för samma pris kan du få fantastisk brunch på Usurum.
