The hotel was ok but you feel far away from the real Kyoto vibes. We have been to the other Loisir hotel in Kyoto ( the Garden) and we were more happy there. In Toji you will feel more isolated from the real Kyoto. On the other way , if you like to walk you have the main train station at 22 minutes and a big shopping mall across the street.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had many amenities. The best thing was the view. It is well worth paying for this type of room.
