The hotel was outstanding in terms of its location (which is close to great restaurants and shopping), the comfort of the room, and amenities. But my single favourite “feature” is the staff, who could not be more friendly, helpful, kind and sweet. For example, one morning as we were going to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant, our little girl stumbled and scraped her knee. I asked Ashley at the front desk if she knows where I could find a bandaid, and within a few minutes she came to our table and gave us 3. Luis was also full of helpful tips about what good restaurants and attractions were nearby. A sincere “thank you” to them and all the staff at the Marriott Piantini in SD!

I have to say the best two things about this hotel are the staff and the location. From the check in to the check out the entire staff is amazing! At the lobby, bar, restaurant, room service, everybody was so nice and helpful! The location is perfect as you can walk to shops and restaurants. The area is very safe, the food and drinks were very good. The view from the pool area is beautiful and the pool is very clean and nice. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Santo Domingo and looking by for a good location and great hotel.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone... I was a victim of robbery and they did nothing. Be very careful when staying at this hotel, do not leave your money outside the safe. I went out for a few hours and when I returned they had taken 200 dollars from my wallet... I reported it and they said that only one person had looked at the door but that no one came in... that means they are covering it up. It is a shame that one cannot visit their country with so much crime....

The breakfast is the best of the best , it is worthy to pay whatever you have to pay. Staff is excellent , from the parking place to the cleaning people , they are amazing. I love this hotel. The service was great, yosemery st the breakfast was amazing, every time she saw me she remember what kind of coffee I liked and had is ready for me.That’s service! Everyone one there was nice really! Our rooms were clean and stock, comfortable, we were in the 8th floor, next time I will ask for a higher floor because at times you could hear the car honking, but other than that it was great!
