The host Isabella was extremely helpful and kind. We were on a 3 week trip to Italy and it was the best hotel experience we have had. While this may be an older property and not necessarily the best, their check-in taff was the best! Our shower door was broken and staff couldn't get our tv to work, but Anna, Anna and Karen were the nicest, most kindest and helpful with some personal needs that came up. We had some documents that needed to be printed and they were very sweet and accommodating to accomplish the task. The hotel was conveniently located, cose to the lake and many restaurants.

The hotel’s location was excellent and it was clean. However the TV and AC did not work. Also staff did not know that two major museums we’re closed. Also got conflicting information about the abiltity to call a cab. The office was not in the building and they were only available between 9-6. We were put on the third floor which is the fourth in Europe with no elevator. After our AC broke I asked to be moved to the first floor where my sister had stayed but had moved on and we still had two more nights. We were told that they were occupied . They appeared to be empty for the rest of our trip. We were there for four nights and would have moved but we had already paid. The most expensive hotel on our trip and it has been the least pleasant.

This was a perfect stay in Lake Como if you plan to be busy about town seeing the sites! We traveled by train, and this was only a few quick steps from the train station. The staff was super friendly and responsive. So close to all of the shopping and dining Lake Como has to offer. Highly recommend!
