The 'Aviemore' hotel block is dated but despite this the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We used the pool with our kids however the water was very cold and we didn't stay long. The whole resort has plenty to offer and is good for a family stay but it could do with some areas being refreshed soon.

Clean family room with a good set up for a family of 4. The breakfast in the bar had sticky floors and chairs, the coffee was undrinkable. We did get a better breakfast in the lounge room. Overall a good hotel in a great location.

Lovely room with spacious comfortable beds, our family booked two rooms that had King sized beds with a single bed made up alongside (one had a bathroom and one a showerroom) We stayed one night and enjoyed a swim after check in and the soft play and playroom in the morning after we checked out (as you are able to use these facilities until 1pm once you check out) We would have made use of the free cinema as well (evening and morning) if we hadn't seen the same film earlier that week) I would happily come back on another trip and really liked the Elemis toiletries in the bathrooms throughout the complex, a touch of luxury!

Like other reviewers have said, this hotel could do with some serious love and refurbishments but otherwise it’s a perfectly nice place to stay. Beds were comfy. And kids loved the pool and playground. The hotel itself looks a little like a prison but if you can get past that then it’s fine. Fire alarm went off one day when I was battling a migraine and ended up being a false alarm which was a bit annoying. They also don’t offer daily room servicing unless you ask and even then they only dump clean towels in your room.

Room was spacious and bed super comfy, bathroom was a bit dated but the shower was decent and the elemis shampoo/shower gel smelt amazing! Pool was a good size! Sauna was nice and hot, beware of the steam room it was burning!! It has a spa pool and not a jacuzzi so don't expect bubbles!! Electric chargers weren't working at our hotel but we managed to use the chargers behind the other hotel Overall a good stay and good location for town centre

You check in at four at the earliest but the pool and gym close at six for swim practice. Then they don’t open until 9:00. So the draw of the pool and amenities is overstated and you can’t really use them. Staff was not forthcoming with information, probably because they don’t want to share bad news. The rooms are fine but outdated. Quiet place.
