Great location in Georgetown. Carpet was stained and bathroom floor grouting needed to be cleaned. View was poor at best. View of the air conditioning units out the window. Our air conditioning unit was very noisy. We tried to turn the unit off but the switch did not respond and it continued to run. Dinner at the in hotel restaurant was excellent!

An elegant boutique hotel in the heart of historic Georgetown, on the water, close to excellent restaurants and shops. The room and amenities were first-rate, the staff very accommodating (they reached out to us before we arrived to see if we needed anything—and we did (my wife had forgotten her razor); a razor and shaving cream awaited us when we checked in).

The front desk clerk seemed very overwhelmed when we arrived. He was dealing with one guest with air condition problems( running constantly, cold and loud) proceeded to tell them no maintenance on staff and he would comp room. The second guest was checking in and the room was not ready at 8 pm, so he comped their drinks while they waited. Our room was ready but lacking in sufficient blankets in the room or closet. Walls had lots of scuff/markings that could have been wiped or scrubbed by housekeeping. Decor was great but a few other items like some art and additional pillow/blankets would have made it perfect!

The George Hotel was great! Staff and facilities were wonderful. Everything you need is in walking distance. The food is amazing at each restaurant. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Hotel located on the main street of historic Georgetown. Convient to great restaurants, shopping and The Kaminski House Museum. Room was exceptionally clean, bed was comfortable and we loved the pampering spa products and robes! Will definitely stay again.

I enjoyed the George Hotel. The location is wonderful. Parking close and free, Staff was helpful and friendly. I only have two complaints. One the pillows, there were four pillows on each bed and I couldn't find one that was not too high or hard. Also, I may not have read closely enough, but the restaurant was not open for breakfast which I didn't realize until I got there.

The registration staff was extremely helpful in giving us guidance on places to see. The hotel was quiet and very clean. Very nice stay.
