Nobody tells you how many Home 2 hotels there are in an area. If you’re not familiar with the area it’s a mess to figure out where your reservation is and the hotel you stop at says they can’t help you look at other H 2 hotels to find out! The room we got was fine but I probably won’t choose this chain again. I walk in with my oxygen concentrator on and using my cane and am given a room at the far end of the floor from the elevator. It was a long walk for a very tired traveler. Why would an architect put the elevator at one end of the building from the elevator. Disregarding those with disabilities, most travelers are tired and dealing with baggage. Very poor planning!

I booked King Suites and was really surprised that the room amenities were so plentiful. My two rooms were clean and tidy, and I love that there was no carpeting in the rooms. That was a nice perk! The hotel staff was professional and uber friendly. I even texted 'Ana' my initial front desk associate and asked about dining options. She was prompt in her reply and very helpful in finding what I was looking for. She was a great asset to my having a rewarding stay! The area that the hotel was located in was convenient and filled with walkable areas to explore. There was even a craft fair the day I arrived. All in all, this was a very pleasant stay! I will be recommending this hotel to others, and I will definitely make this a top location for my future stays in Huntsville!

Frustrating at first

Everything was perfect except the initial check in. I travel a LOT for work and had saved rewards to pay for hotels while traveling to vacation destination. Upon checking the gentleman told me to slide my card to pay and when I told him it was already paid for he wasn’t having it nor did he want to look into it when I was trying to explain. Thankfully the young lady sitting there took over and showed him how to process.
