Had a lovely one night stay here. Landlady was suoer friendly and helpful. Our room was cute and spacious. Bathroom was clean Free coffee, tea, bottle of water and biscuits! Continental breakfast (which was included) had a good choice of items. Overall a lovely stay in a typical village pub with fabulous atmosphere and staff

This is a very nice hotel with warm, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. It is best to request a room at the back of the hotel if you are likely to be troubled by traffic noise as the A22 tends to have some traffic through the night. But very convenient for the Coast, the Downs and Glyndebourne. thanks for a great stay.

Stayed for 1 night whilst visiting the Three Hills beer festival. Rooms are above a nice small pub in a quiet area. Free parking at the back. Friendly and helpful staff and a decent breakfast. The only thing I would say to be wary of is that the rooms dont have air conditioning so keep that in mind if you're likely to be there in peak summer/heatwave months!

Gastvrije ontvangst. Heel aardige gastheer en gastvrouw. Wifi is prima. Nette kamer. Continentaal ontbijt zat bij de prijs in en de prijs van de kamer was heel schappelijk. Er was de mogelijkheid om tegen betaling full English breakfast te bestellen en dat breakfast was erg lekker, net zoals de bacon bap. De avond voor vertrek werd een ontbijtpakket voor onze deur gezet omdat we hadden aangegeven te zullen vertrekken voor het ontbijt aanving. Heel attent!

Old pub right on a busy roundabout, in the winter with closed windows is fine, in the summer with no AC or fan it's not a good place to spend the night. Staff very friendly, great beer poor food. OK value for the price.

This was a last minute booking and I have to say I got very lucky. I didn't arrive until late which was unfortunate as I didn't get to sample the food which I could see looked amazing for those that were more fortunate. I booked a single room but got upgraded to a beautiful double room, The team on site were amazing and very friendly and helpful. My only wish would have been for breakfast to be served a little earlier than 8:00am. Would definitely go back.
