2/10 Poor

They couldn't even replace blankets or soap during my stay, nor did they do a little cleaning. It really wasn't worth it. They're missing a lot!!:)

We could not get the hot water to work during our stay. Bed was comfortable. No tissues in the room. Outdated but clean.

Lights near bed not plugged in so they are useless. Door doesn't shut properly letting in lots of cold air. Tub/shower quite dingy.

Pictures are deceiving

The room looks like it is in the middle of a remodel that they abandoned. There isn’t a doorknob that latches, if you do not engage the deadbolt the door just opens. It did not feel safe. Because of this the door doesn’t really seal properly so the cold comes in and so does the exhaust from other guests when they decide to warm up their trucks. Felt unsafe but had no other options available in town.

No deadbolts or chains on the door--I literally pushed a table against it for security. Property feels very old and worn despite newish floors. Bedding is thin. Acceptable as a last resort, but I was glad to leave.

Fine for sleeping

Good enough place for a one night stay and somewhere to sleep. Stayed there for the eclipse. Very cute town and would have loved to explore more. The motel is outdated but the floors look new. Very surface cleaned but could probably use a good deep cleaning. Lady at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Having a fridge and microwave was nice. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Definitely needs update on bed covers. I probably wouldn’t have stayed there for more than one night but was adequate for sleeping.

An acceptable room if you just need to sleep.

Said BFast but didn’t have it. Door handle sometimes wouldn’t turn and locked us in our room. No one there to check us out. It’s under new ownership and I think there are some growing pains.

2/10 Poor

The door to our room didn't fit and there was a 1/4 in. gap all around it. We had to turn on the antique cooler to quell all the noise outside-- a kid bouncing the basketball for hours on end and kids screaming around. The pipe under the sink leaked and splashed down on our feet whenever we turned the sink on. The toilet paper holder was so old it was falling apart and the toilet paper kept falling on the ground. The whole place was dirty and we felt like we were living in a ghetto. The mattress on the bed was the only thing that was decent (amazingly enough). We would have chosen another hotel but it was labor day weekend and everything else was filled up, I had to get the manager at 12:00 a.m. to tell the people next door to be quiet as the people were having an argument. (The walls are paper thin.) The picture in the ad is deceiving. The people running the place were not professional in the least and looked like they came from the dumps. The office windows and everything was dirty and unkept. Hate to paint such a poor picture but I wish someone had been honest enough to put out the truth before we made arrangements. I tried other towns but they were full also. This area is a big one for hunting and four wheeling plus there were two bicycle competitions going on for high schools in the state and another.

2/10 Poor

No shower head. Dirty mattresses. Locks broken, door in bad shape, stains on carpet, loud kids in the lobby, and just in poor shape all around.

Run for your life

Nobody at the office at 5 PM. Had to ring the bell and wait over five minutes for somebody to show up the room is dirty. There’s red smears on the door needs fresh coat of paint dirt in the bath bathtub and the baseboards home and the ceiling.

8/10 Very good

Stayed here for the night on a road trip. We had an emergency and couldn’t check in until early in the morning. We got there at 1:30am and the employee was so nice. She greeted me like it was 1:39 in the afternoon. The hotel is older but well kept, clean and very reasonable. Had a nice big bathtub too. Bonus!!
