The room was clean. We never met any staff (but see below). The confirmation said this about breakfast: "Continental breakfast is included with your stay and is available from 7 am to 10 am and is located in the lobby,main entrance. (Continental Breakfast is on the go cereal, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, water, oatmeal, muffins,danishes,coffee cakes,Big texas cinnamon rolls, cheese crackers, peanut butter crackers, etc.)" There was no cereal. Almost everything that was there, was not healthy (i.e. it was full of preservatives). The building itself has not been maintained. Some of the flowers were withered. The exterior door of our room had broken glass. The bathroom had no tissues. The bathroom had no water glasses. The gel dispensers in the shower were empty. This place looks like the owner/manager is trying to spend as little money as possible, and make as much money as possible from people (like me) who didn't read the reviews before we chose this place.

It’s a cute place. It was clean, nicely decorated and we slept very well. However, there was no hot water, the bathtub had a steady drip and couldn’t fill it through the faucet; only the shower head worked, the bathtub stopper didn’t work. Also, no breakfast available. Since the two amenities I wanted was a jetted tub and free breakfast this wasn’t a good fit and probably wouldn’t return.

The check in was ackward. When we first arrived, the door was locked and the Ring did not answered. We got in after someone showed up. The TV worked but none of the Roku channels were active accept for a free movie channel. Breakfast was donuts, cereal, waffles, fruit and drinks. Not bad nothing special. The room was quite comfortable, clean bath, no hair dryer available. Eric was quite friendly and helpful. There were very nice places to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine.

The atmosphere was good and fairly clean. The towel holder and toilet paper holder screws were coming out of drywall. They only give you a towel, washcloth and hand towel for each person and no one there to ask for more. It wouldn’t have been a big deal but shower door leaks water on floor and no extra towels to clean it up. The biggest downside was the water did not get hot. Only lukewarm which made you cold with the air on. I never saw the breakfast that was supposed to be offered. But it was right at 8am so maybe it wasn’t ready. Overall it was quiet and a good place to stay.

Room and common areas could be cleaner. For example, there were 3 dryer sheets in the bedding, there was a bit of trash in the room, and the bathroom sink needed to be wiped off. Property otherwise was good.

This place was a nice large home with a bunch of different sized rooms. It was clean and well taken care of, but a bit dated. It could use some upgrades in a few places. The shared bathroom had the basics but nothing special. I didn;t see any staff but knew that coming in. I took care of myself and had a nice night's stay. There was a small breakfast nook there in the morning with bagels, oatmeal, waffles, juice, milk, and a few other items. The price was great for a very nice room that I only needed for a good sleep. I would definitely go here again.

Decent place to stay

The Speedway legacy Inn was a nice place to stay. The pros: cleanliness, quiet, and most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in. The cons: I was expecting breakfast and all there was, was cereal and muffins for food. The reviews had said “home cooked breakfast”. I would stay again because I did receive fast response when I had concerns regarding the room (Tv remote, refrigerator). I would recommend the property owners invest in mini fridges for the rooms as well. That would have been super nice as I was trying to spend as little as possible on my business trip but ended up spending a lot of money on food.
