I had a problem with my original booking so I had to book this hotel on the day, late evening. To my luck this hotel was far better. The staff was so kind and the restaurant was excellent. It had a nice garden. Breakfast was also good. The room was clean with cosy beds.

Lovely, clean hotel. Plenty of parking. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Too little clothes hanging & storage space in room, no wardrobe even though room large enough to accommodate it. Food was delicious, our stay was longer than a few days and change of menu would have been nice, or a specials menu as an option to chose from. Would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, we stayed in dog friendly room which was ground floor, near exit and garden. Beautiful outside area and gardens. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Easy walk into the little town of Farringdon. We had a great meal in the old crown coaching inn 😋 beautiful old character building. Would definitely stay again 😊

All very well appointed - from the carpark through to reception and the bedrooms. Rooms - attractive with lovely bed and bedding, comfortable chairs and table as well as desk and hanging space, good bathroom (nice bath - and shower could be lifted down also). Restaurant leading onto the beautiful gardens with magnificent ancient magnolia was very nice too - we had two excellent evening meals and breakfasts; there was a good choice of dishes for a vegetarian (me).

Very good location & close to town centre. The staff Jane & Julie were very helpful & friendly. The room was clean & spacious. Little touches like bottled water in room & water dispenser at reception were gratefully recieced as it was during the heatwave. It was great that there was a lift too.

Hotel very dated needs a lot of maintenance painting walls skirting boards ect. Could be cleaner especially corridor doors. Shower in room terrible.Fan in room blew off many years of dust when switched on covering the room. Didn’t eat so can’t comment. Staff were very friendly.

Stayed for my sisters wedding. Staff weee helpful and nice, hotel was nice and grounds were lovely. Food was nice. Bedroom was very hot due to aircon not working and there was no fan. Found orange peel under the bed and there was no hand soap, just a small round bit of soap. Plumbing was v loud and bath needs some unblocking. Still a nice place to stay overall and would probably return
