The apartment room type was good on the first night, and the laundry equipment worked normally. On the second night, I moved to superior apartment. The dehydration function of the laundry equipment failed, the bath supplies were used up and were not replenished, and the glasses cup of kitchen was not clean. Overall, there is room for improvement, even though it is a new building. It’s so bad on the second night stay.

The unit was spotless, new and well-furnished. Everything was good except that there’s no blinds for the window above the back door. Since it’s next to our bed, the room wasn’t completely dark when we slept.

Great location in a quiet, friendly town. Hot Tub was good to relax in after a day of walking. Only negative was that the access code is sent via SMS and does not arrive if you have an international number, so we had to drive back to the main hotel on the other side of the town to get our code.

Unpraktische Suite und merkwürdiges Einchecken

Ungewöhnlich war das Einchecken. Wir erhielten 2 Tage vorher eine email zum pre-checkin. Wir sollten ausser unseren Daten auch die Kreditkartennummer und die Geheimzahl angeben. Da wir keine sichere Verbindung hatten, haben wir darauf verzichtet und lediglich unsere Ankunftszeit angegeben. Zur Ankunftszeit war niemand da, es warteten auch schon andere Gäste, die nicht weiter wussten. Dann fiel uns ein, dass die email aus dem Northwinds Hotel kam. Wir sind also da hingefahren. Der Mitarbeiter dort bat uns, ihm für die Kaution unsere Mastercard Daten inklusive Geheimzahl aufzuschreiben. Das lehnten wir ab und zahlten in bar. Am nächsten Tag erhielten wir das Geld zurück. Nun zur Suite: Ganz neu, ganz sauber, gutes Bett, kleines Schlafzimmer, viel zu grosser Fernsehapparat für den geringen Sehabstand. Küche: Völlig überdimensionierter Kühlschrank und Tiefkühler, riesige Mikrowelle, riesiger Herd, riesige Waschmaschine, riesiger Trockner, aber sehr wenig Geschirr für genau 2 Personen, und in der Küche nur ein winziger Cocktailtisch mit 2 kleinen Hochstühlen, keine Ablagemöglichkeiten, kein Schrank, keine Kleiderbügel, dafür aber ganz viele Kleiderhaken.

Will stay again!

Pros- new, clean, comfy bed, easy access to shopping and food, hot tub (good views), quiet, easy parking, easy check in, good price, rocky soap products. I don’t really have any cons to my stay, but just a few comments. While our room had a huge closet, there were only 5 hangers and there are no coat hooks anywhere in the room. The towels were really rough. The hot tub views were great, but wish you would have done a glass insert in the railings, instead of black bars, so you can enjoy the view better. We enjoyed our stay here and plan to stay again in October.

Everything easy!

The location was convenient, clean, and the parking right in front of the door was great. Personally, I liked the bright bathroom lighting. The kitchen was convenient and had a fridge and freezer, which was nice. Overall, the layout was like a one-bedroom suite, which was comfortable.

Comfy, huge and family friendly!!

The suite was exactly what we needed and more!! Location was perfect, comfy, a lot of space for family of 7, 3 washrooms, 3 bedrooms, 2 TV’s!! The next door neighbours were loud but it was fine!! Also I couldn’t get the bedroom TV to connect to anything but could be just me!!

Our stay was great. The accommodations and kitchen were perfect for our needs. Parking was a challenge with no spaces available the first day but as people filtered out we were able to get parking in the parkade area. Easy access to downtown restaurants and shops

First Time Family Stay

This was my families first time staying in Revelstoke and the first time at basecamp suites. We stayes in a two bedroom and were very happy with the accommodations. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only inconvenience was that there are no elevators and we have an infant in a stroller. But we managed and it didn’t sour out experience.
