The best Mardi Gras ever

This was the best place to stay for Mardi Gras. The place itself is so lovely with the multi colored courtyard and funky, imaginative rooms. It got us in the spirit!! And some big parades were 2 blocks away!! Getting in and out of the city was super easy, and we were given very detailed instructions that made it even smoother of a process to get in. Also the parking lot was a huge relief. Oh, and breakfast was included with the best king cake I ever had. 20000/10!!

Awesome place!!

Creole Gardens was a perfect place to stay. My husband and I were traveling from TX back to FL and decided to spend a day in New Orleans. I found this great spot away from the busy streets of main NoLa and it was amazing!! We arrived several hours before check in, but given so much help using the street cars and places to see!!! The staff is so helpful, friendly and so much fun to just talk to. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful again with great staff that kept is laughing. We will be visiting again and highly recommended. *For some reason app will not let me add photos. The building is older but beautiful! Fits perfectly with New Orleans!

B&B ligt aan de buitenrand van New Orleans. Ligt op een steen worp afstand van de tram, dus een auto heb je niet nodig om naar het centrum te gaan. Dit was ook de reden voor ons om deze B&B te kiezen. Uitgebreid ontbijt met fruit, yoghurt enz. De kokkin neemt je bestelling op voor het warme gedeelte. TOP! Wij hadden de bovenste kamer, wat wel inhoud dat je 2 lange trappen op moet want een lift is er niet. Kamer was heel erg ruim, goed bed, een bank en ook nog een apart bed. Inclusief airco en diverse fans was het prima vertoeven, we hadden zelfs een balkon vanwaar je ook nog eens buitenom naar de tuin kon mocht je dat willen. Personeel is erg aardig en behulpzaam. Diverse restaurants en andere zaken in de omgeving

Weekend in NOLA

Our stay was excellent! Kristin was very friendly and helpful, even had our room ready before check in time (we had let them know we would arrive around noon). Complimentary breakfast was extremely convenient and satisfying to set us up for exploring the Quarter. All of the recommendations given for cafes and restaurants in the area were great. If you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable, authentic experience for a weekend in NOLA, this place cannot be beat. St. Charles streetcar runs just a block away; gives you access to French Quarter and all the other streetcars that run through Downtown, French Market, etc. Expect Inn/B&B accommodations and a very welcoming, friendly environment.

The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was located a 3 minute walk from the bus or street car and with multiple dining options around just a few minute walk away and only a 25 minute walk from bourbon street and other areas of the French quarter. The staff were very nice and friendly and very accommodating as well.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our Eras Tour visit to New Orleans! Accommodations were perfect for my daughter and I, complete with many thoughtful gestures by hotel staff. Wonderful stay, a delicious breakfast, free parkin

We were so pleased with our choice to stay at the Creole Gardens Inn. A wonderful bed & breakfast in a historic home. Our King room with a balcony was fatastic. A spacious room with bed, seating area, large bathroom with a shower and a clawfoot tub for soaking. The balcony was a great bonus space with table and chairs plus wonderful padded rockers and a nice view of the neighborhood. Even though there were heat advisories daily the A/C and ceiling fan kept our room nice and cool. The breakfast spread was delightful as well. Hot coffee, juice, fresh yogurt& fruit, granola, pastries and breads for toasting and a hot breakfast du jour cooked when you came down. Personnel were all so friendly and gave recommendations for how to use the streetcars to get to the french qtr or beyond, also wonderful to use and 1 block away. They shared great knowledge of restaurants or shops too. Parking was free in a lot just past the houses with a pass only, not a public lot. There were many restaurants within walking distance and a nice neighborhood with some old world Orleans charm without the frenzy of the quarter. We will definitely stay here again if we have the chance.
