The good: clean, good breakfast, close to the park. Suggestion for improvement: We booked this hotel for our family with young kids after our kids saw the amazing looking wide angle lens pool photos. On a hot July day, after hiking in the morning, we went to the pool. Despite the 95 degree weather, the pool felt as though they dumped loads of ice in the water. Kids stayed in for about 5 minutes before spending the rest of the time in the crowded hot tub. Adults treated the pool like a cold plunge, getting in and immediately out with sensation of swimming in a glacier lake. With the price they charge their guests, they could certainly afford to heat the pool a little. Next time we’ll choose one of the several other options with a pool unless I find out they started heating the pool.
