Beautiful, clean, good room design

The rooms are beautiful, spacious, even the "small" room. Very clean. My only "complaint" would be the sofa bed wasn't even usable with a not so great spring mattress. Otherwise, everything was lovely!

I had a very good stay over Christmas. Everyone staff was very gracious with my having to extend my stay each day do to weather and family. I got to Madison a little frazzled and under the weather but your staff made me feel at home. Thank for helping make difference in my holidays this past year

Disappointed

Stayed there for a local event. Was hoping for a relaxing stay considering the event we were attending was a tough one. Come to find that there was no hot tub to relax in and it wasn’t noted on the website for us to be able to know this. Website also states that it has a nice “restaurant” which consisted of appetizers and bar food at best. Upon entering the room, the entrance light was not working so we stumbled about until we found a bathroom light. On a nicer note, the room was clean and cozy but lacked ANY instructions or a pen/paper for us to be able to look for local restaurants or grocery stores. It also left us with no instructions on how to use the tv remote or what channels were available. A very slim few to choose from when we did manage to figure it out. Overall visit was very disappointing even though the facility was pleasing to the eye.

Comfy beds, but isolated location

The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, especially the young man who came to pick me up at the airport in the shuttle when I called.site wasn’t clear that you need to make a reservation for the shuttle. Also, not available before 8 AM. No restaurants within walking distance. Food at onsite restaurant was not that good. Server had difficulty understanding what I wanted to drink, but she was friendly when she wasn’t talking with her friends. On-site restaurant isn’t open on Sundays. The lobby area is large and comfy. The jacuzzi is permanently closed. The rooms are large, with a nice sitting area. about 10 to 15 minutes away from the airport via Uber, which you’ll need for early or late flights. Cost for a Uber at 6AM was $29.00.

Great stay - will stay again!

From the moment I booked with Hotels.com, I made a small request about room views and the Cambria staff sent a message saying they would do everything they could to accommodate. And they did! Staff was always available immediately upon arrival to the desk, hotel was clean and quiet, and maintained well. My room had a mini fridge and microwave, both of which I used and worked great. I did not use additional amenities during my stay but did notice a sign stating the hot tub was out of order, but this did not affect my stay or review. Thank you!

Expedia did not mention anything about an additional pet fee for this hotel. An extremely high $75 additional fee which would have led me to find another place had that been disclosed initially. Once booked, I was locked into this hotel and only discovered the fee upon arrival.

I chose Cambria because we've stayed there before and was close to other things we had planned. Receptionist was pleasant. Room was nice with the separate seating area from the bed. Bathroom was clean and prepared. I didn't use the appliances on this trip. Good outlets at the desk. One side of bed did have enough but the other side could have had another. I misread the description so i didn't see that the hot tub was closed and that breakfast was a separate fee. My husband thought the closet was an after thought or poorly designed because the open door bumped against the king sized bed when in use. The bedside table was very small on that side of the room. I'd prefer that the telephone was on the desk, not on the night stand.
