I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and disgust regarding an incident that occurred during breakfast this morning, I am a guest at your hotel.
While eating my omelette, which was prepared at the complimentary breakfast buffet, I was horrified to discover a live, crawling insect, which appeared to be an ant, in my food. This is an unacceptable and serious breach of basic food safety and hygiene standards.
The experience was deeply disturbing and caused me to lose my appetite. Such an incident is completely contrary to the standards of cleanliness and quality that I expect from a Hampton Inn.
I immediately brought this to the attention of staff on duty.
I request a full investigation into this matter and expect a satisfactory resolution, which should include a full refund for my stay. I trust that you will take this complaint with the utmost seriousness and take corrective action to prevent any similar incidents in the future.
