I had a nice 2-night stay here. I so appreciated the hotel staff staying longer at reception so we could check in, as our tour went later than expected. Check-in was smooth and I felt accommodated. The hotel itself is small, but comfortable and nice. The room had everything we needed, bed was comfy. I appreciated the balcony right over the pool area, as well as having on site dining. Breakfast could have been better quality, but the convenience was nice. The hotel is located right on the main street, so it's easy to catch a taxi. It's also a 5-minute walk from beautiful Maxwell Beach. I would stay here again.

The reviews for this hotel were excellent. So I booked it for a two day stay. It’s on the main road, so it’s convenient. I arrived after 6, when reception closes, but there was someone there to give us the keys. The walk in and dining area are pleasant appearing. The room I booked was smaller than it appears in photos. I should have checked the dimensions. I was disappointed but that was my fault. The first problem I noticed was the face basin was small and not draining well so water would splash back when I had to brush my teeth. There was cold- lukewarm water only. The worst bit however was the mildew on the old shower hose. It was thick I could scrape it with my fingernail.The towels seemed to be washed in bleach and they had a very raw smell. There was mildew on the walls also. When the room was checked for readiness for a guest, I can understand how they thought putting a guest in that condition bathroom was appropriate. They broke their no refund policy and allowed me to check out early so that was a positive.

I’ve never been to a hotel that comes with only one thin bed sheet as bed cover. Fortunately, the weather isn’t too cold. It’s still feel uncomfortable for whole night. Besides, the wall mount air fan unit is noisy, it sounds like a train passing by from distance. Not too loud but noise is constant. Very annoying!

Fluff sticking to my slippers so had to ask for rooms to be cleaned again. No loo roll in room 201. No complimentary water. Balcony no tables or chairs in rooms 201 and 302. Locked out of room, but no answer on the contact number for hours. Room 303 blue TV cable plugged out. Rooms not cleaned only bins emptied whilst at breakfast. Room 301, sewage smell 24th Oct Sewage smell in my room 28th Oct Hand towels taken and not replaced. No clean cups & glasses. Room 303 behind door dirty. Room 301, under door has buildup of fluff. Balconies not cleaned only bins Wi-Fi not good.

This hotel needs some serious attention to its rooms. I checked in a room with a lot of broken stuff, the images online didn’t look the same. The parking a lot is not directly onsite and the area for parking doesn’t feel safe at night. This should be listed as a motel for the price paid!!

Nice friendly staff, their restaurant was good, but we rather go elsewhere as the menu was small. But the food we did get was good. Only thing that was not good was Saturday night they have a DJ who played music way too loud and until 12 midnight. I get that its a vacation/party vibe but the rooms are not very sound proof.Which brings me to the next, we could hear our neighbor talk and hear his tv. Im sure he could hear us too. Other than that we liked it.
