Decent hotel

Overall this was a good hotel and close to the Pepperplex where we had softball tournament. Front desk/ check in was smooth and lady was very friendly. Place is a bit dated. Kind of a musty smell throughout. Elevator broke the 2nd night we were there and we had to carry all luggage down from 3rd floor to check out. Not their fault but very inconvenient. Breakfast was about what you expect... nothing fancy. I would probably stay here again.

Great Value for Price

We enjoyed our stay overall. The service was excellent, and we liked the complimentary cookies at the front desk. The only serious issue we could potentially see is the pool being closed. Keep this in mind if you are counting on having pool time on your vacation.

Solid hotel for the value.

Pleasantly surprised at the service. Front desk lady was nice, efficient and loved her job. I would go back from her efforts alone. The only negative was the pungent smell of weed in the elevator and hallways. Not sure much can be done about that. Solid stay.

Decent hotel-convenient location-subpar staff

Pretty sure the staff was smoking marijuana behind the front desk. Staff refused to provide extra sheets and blankets even though none were provided in a room with a sofa bed. Breakfast was good - not many hot options. Rooms and hallways were incredibly muggy. Almost as if windows had been left open, despite none of the windows being able to be opened. Invest in some dehumidifiers! Fixtures were mangled - as if they had been chewed (?) and some were rusty. Also a result of the ridiculous humidity. I get it - it’s southern LA - but there are ways to mitigate it!

The staff was wonderful and very nice. Housekeeping had dropped the ball and forgot to clean out room on a fully booked hotel so the front desk lady went to clean it herself. Other than that little mishap, our stay was perfect. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and smelt good. The were lots of outlets in the room for chargers. Lots of options for breakfast. The hotel is renovated and very nice. Overall our experience was great and we would definitely stay there again.

Despite minor temperature concerns, great stay

We came to the area for a large weekend event. Our previously booked locations was experiencing water issues and we were suggested this location. The price was great with wonderful reviews. We LOVED the room. Single king bed, couch, two large tables to eat or work, several chairs, a bench, rolling stool, and coffee table. The breakfast was a standard hot breakfast with multiple options. Our only concerns were the air conditioning and hot water. We checked in and left for our event anticipating a return to the room being cool and ready for a good sleep. It never really got cold. Sleep was hard because the room felt somewhere in the mid 70s despite the thermostat going much lower. The hot water only got warm and not hot. Taking a shower wasn't quite as refreshing as we'd hoped. All in all we had a pleasant stay despite the small issues. We chalk it up to things happen and next time will probably be better. The room layout and amenities are enough for us to book again for future events.

Watch you bill

Okay we arrive at 4.30 on a Friday which i believe is a peak time of business but there only one person works ck in .Tell the ck in that me and my friend is splitting room fee i pay for one night and friend pays for another all is supposed to be well return to room tv and internet a no go .no worries, next day leave room for a meetings, go to use my cc and my funds and roommate funds are missing from our bank account the hotel charges me for two nights and roommate for two nights plus sum 25.00 fee so thats a total of 325.00 for one room for 2 nights, call the manager (extremely nice lady and she tells me those are security deposits, since when does this happen and why wasn't it told up front plus 2 days later still haven't credited my account
