Tracey checked me in and it was a smooth process because there was no line. I arrived at 5:00pm and Tracey stated that the dining area/bar adjacent to the lobby has a happy hour that starts at 5:00pm. The lobby contains ice water, coffee, and tea to be had at your leisure. Naturally, my friend and I had partake in happy hour to see what it was about. They had a limited discount menu and nice variety of drinks. The server/bartender advised gave us suggestions on the drinks we should try. We also order the loaded fries and an order of wings. The wings were really small but good and so were the loaded fries. The drink he recommended was on point. I like tropical drinks so it was right on point for me. The rooms were nice and large. The room was equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. The bed was really comfortable and I loved the blackout curtains. I think they should have sound-proof the rooms because you can hear the traffic from the nearby interstate. The same person, Tracey, who checked me in also checked me out. The only thing I did not like about my stay was having to pay for parking. Had it been highlighted on the website, I would have factored in the cost among other hotel options. I would recommend the hotel if in the area. The parking fee was manageable and the staff was super nice. It's a level of service you pay for and come to expect from hotels like this.
