Best stay ever

Front desk staff let you know what was Going on in town and offered suggestion of thing to do and where to eat. The breakfast stuff was equally as helpful and kept everything full and fresh and checked with every guest in the dining area.

It was ok.

I saw the high rating and booked it. A bit disappointed. The room looked worn down: screen ripped in the window, dust and corrosion in the bathroom. There were no facial tissues or bag for laundry. They also charged for wifi. We never experienced that before. The bed was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful though and the manager and staff were very nice. I guess for the cost, I expected those items included.

Gross and pungent - not, rustic.

For nearly $300 a night, this place did not deliver. Total disappointment. The hotel is in desperate need of a major renovation. The interior is cheap 1990’s.. Carpet it old, shower curtain is mildewed. When we walked into the room, there was an overwhelming smell of commercial cleaning supplies and detergent. The smell of the sheets was so strong - that our pajamas smelled and, in turn, made all of the clothes in our suitcase smell. The TVs are early 2000’s and small. The numbers on the remote were worn off - to give you an idea of how old they were. The pictures and description of this place are deceiving - it’s not rustic and charming. The whole feel was more cheap motel than hotel. Bummer - because it’s so close to Main St. To top things off - we found a cockroach in the bathtub when we woke up. Hard pass. We stayed one night - and, that was one night too long.

Fredericksburg overnight

One night visit to explore Fredericksburg. The hotel fit our needs. Was disappointed in two things. 1. Shower/tub was EXTREMELY dangerous. Too high to get into for a senior and the floor in tub/shower was so slippery even without soap that I had to hold on to handle. 2. Food for breakfast was poor in quality and cold.

This stay was less than amazing. The room did not match up to the pictures. The room was really dark and very crowded. The breakfast was closed 10 minutes before the posted time.
