Good location, nice people at hotel

Overall experience was fine. The room has some water leaking from the roof, i think that came from the air conditioner, so the carpet was wet all the time. My room was on the 2nd floor, close to the street, so it's a little noisy during the day time.

La chauffage n'était pas très fort ce qui est dommage mais je suis restée peu de temps et la température a monter. La chambre était propre et spacieuse, surtout au prix affichée. C'est un peu loin du centre ville, mais il y a plusieur bus qui vont dans cette direction a >5 mins de marche.

I arrived at the hotel around 20:00 local time. I checked in online as required, as they don't have a proper reception. I was given an access key to the building which worked. The door to the room however did not open. I then contacted the hotel over the phone and WhatsApp. But nobody answered. In the lobby I found another three guests with the same problem. Around 22:00 one of the guests could get hold of someone through WhatsApp. My request was answered at 22:20 when I finally received an access code for the room.

The metalic shower enclosure is all rusted and rusted water was leaking on the bathroom tiles. Furniture is dated and very tired. The mattress is a little more than a few bags of foam. I stayed on the top floor (6th floor) and it took 10 minutes to get any hot water in the morning. Expedia continues to list this hotel despite my objections, claiming to have forwarded my remarks and photos to the marketing group - very disappointing.

It was okay

I stayed at this hotel for four nights during a solo trip to Bucharest. The best part is the location: right by Piata Romana, a major transport hub with many bus lines and even the hop-on/hop-off stop. Despite the traffic outside, the room was quiet, and it was easy to get around the city. My single room matched the photos, was clean and tidy, and the bed was fine. Room size was okay for one person, though the TV did not work. Facilities are very limited. The lobby feels outdated, and reception is on the first landing with only a few chairs and tables. There are no common areas or activities, so I would not recommend it for families. For a short stay as a solo traveler or couple, it can be sufficient. Staff were polite but service was average. When towels were missing, I was told none were available until the next day, with no apology. When I asked for an iron (listed as available), I was simply told they did not have one. Breakfast was not served at the hotel since the restaurant was closed. Instead, it was provided at a small café down the street. The selection was simple (mainly bread and eggs) but fine for a light start. On my departure morning, I found an elderly couple sleeping in the lobby, which left a strange impression but didn’t affect my stay. Overall, this hotel is fine if you just need a clean room in a great location. Solo travelers or couples will manage well, but families or anyone expecting more comfort and service should look elsewhere.

Nice and relaxed

My stay at the hotel was nice. My family stated that they saw bugs in the bathroom. I would have given 5 stars, however not all rooms were ready at 4pm as promised.

Good, but wrongful information

All in all it was great. The breakfast times are however incorrect both as advertised here as well as in the room. In the room there is a big info sheet where it said breakfast 7-11, but when we got to the breakfast 5 past 10 they said it was over and it only lasted until 10. We then asked in reception about it and told staff said the info sheet was out of date and said we should’ve been informed at check in (they didn’t). We barely got an apology and neither money back for that mornings breakfast.

At 11 pm at night, the receptionist entered my room without my permission while I was in bed to retrieve another guests forgotten luggage. Unbelievable. He should have called and asked for permission first. I should have reported him to his manager and police for illegal entry. Criminal!
