Ein sehr schönes Hotel in guter Lage. Man erreicht die Stadt sehr schnell. Der Pool ist klasse. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit dem wunderschönen Balkon. Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht so richtig.

What a great stay this was. Staff were unbelievably attentive and really made the holiday for us. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Swimming pool and bar was excellent for food and drink throughout the day. Never felt busy and was always very peaceful. Breakfast was great. Well organised and always clean. Again, staff were excellent and always available if you needed something. Rooms are basic but have air con which was well needed in the summer. We had a 2 room family suite which was great for our family of four with two teenagers. Centre of Lucca is an easy 15-20min walk but taxi’s are readily available within 10mins of booking if you prefer. We hired bikes one evening from the hotel which were perfect to get around the city wall. If we come back to Lucca, we will definitely book again.

I don`t normally write a poor review, but having spent decent money on this booking for 3 nights we were very dissapointed in many aspects. Firstly it`s not clear on Hotels.com that this a B&B only. Suggest that should be in the title. We lost the small piece of paper with the gate code upon returning from town and tried the number on hotels.com which didn`t work. We then tried the Whats App number provided but nobody answered. There was no buzzer on the gate. We only managed to enter the premises with the help of fellow guests. Recommendation in the future is that once booked you are provided with the gate codes on your app. The other issue was we required ear plugs as the walls are so thin you can hear the next room putting their clothes hangers back in their wardrobe and using the bathroom. There`s a pool bar, but not staffed. Never did find the lounge!! Photo`s look great but that`s about the highlight.

Small but very nice hotel. It is located outside the historical center in a semi-rural environment. That is conducive to a quiet, relaxing stay. Getting to the historical center is an easy walk or one can use public transportation or taxis. The pool is beautiful but useable only in the summer as it not heated. Good breakfast by the pool in a enclosed room. Last but not least staff is courteous and always willing to help.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. Bike hire is extra - 35 euro a day. - the pool is lovely - comfortable and a lovely space to relax. However, it’s only open from 10am - 7pm which was a shame as it’s not possible to have a swim before breakfast and then head out for the day. Worth bearing in mind if you have children who might be raring to get in the pool first thing! - no bar open in the evening and nowhere nearby to eat or drink, so be prepared to be out in Lucca in the evenings Overall the hotel was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, but the pool restrictions and the location are worth bearing in mind.

Det var et veldig fint opphold- synest spesielt hagen med bassenget var supert. Det var fredelig og vakkert. De ansatte var hyggelig og hjelpsom. Rommet var stort og reint. Frokosten var god- typisk italiensk med fine rundstykker, croissanger og søte kaker.

An exceptional find - we wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Our room was clean, spacious and full of character. The air conditioning worked well and provided a welcome retreat from the afternoon sun. Best of all was the staff, who were simply delightful.

Mysigt och välskött boende med fantastisk frukost

Vi sov 2 nätter här i oktober 2020. Vi fick ett fint välkomnande vid incheckningen med rekommendationer på restauranger och sevärdheter. Lucca är en fantastiskt mysig liten stad med ringmur runt och i vissa delar ingen trafik. Boendet hade allt vi önskade; stort rum, pentry, sköna sängar och väldoftande tvål. Jättebra med parkering innanför den låsta grinden. Frukosten var fantastisk. Stort utbud och bra kvalitet av frukter, olika sorters bröd o bakverk, juice, kaffe, ägg. Det enda på minussidan var att Wi-Fi inte fungerande bra i vårt rum. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka! Helst under sommaren så poolen kan nyttjas, den var stängd nu men ser väldigt fin ut.
