What an amazing place in Holbox. Staff were super friendly and helpful ! Kuddos to receptionists for being so awesome. Hotel is in what I think the best part of island , just away from town enough to get there in 5 min by taxi . But also in the best spot to catch the best sunset every day! Hotel is in excellent condition and my ocean barefoot room was amazing and impeccable. If you say here you dont need to book a bioluminescence tour since this spot is literally 3 min walk ! A simple google search will show you ( you are welcome) Beach club is lovely with super reasonable prices fo drinks and food!

El personal es muy atento y con mucha disposición siempre! Las instalaciones son muy nuevas y en general es MUY bonito hotel. Tuvimos un fallo con el aire acondicionado la primer noche y con un tour que pedimos y de último minuto nos cancelaron (no es operado por el hotel, pero ellos lo gestionan). Esperaba que por estas 2 situaciones el hotel ofreciera alguna compensación o cortesía pero no lo hicieron, así que yo las solicité, pero las primeras reacciones del equipo fueron de sorpresa e informando que no tenían autorizado ninguna bonificación o cortesía. Les dije que no me parecía correcto y esperaba algo por haber pasado calor toda la primer no he. Contestaron que por eso habían enviado un pequeño pastel (individual) de cumpleaños a la habitación (Inicialmente fue su gesto por el cumpleaños de mi esposa). Posteriormente ofrecieron dos bebidas en cortesía a lo cual respondí que no me parecía suficiente o justo, y me pidieron que les dijera que quería yo. Todo terminó en una negociación muy pobre y rápida donde simplemente iban ofreciendo mejores cosas, pero sentí que era una forma muy barata de perder mi tiempo rogando por una compensación que creía justa. Terminaron confirmando las bebidas en cortesía las cuales finalmente no consumimos. Cuando los fallos son del hotel, deben asumirlos y compensarlos, no buscar la manera de hacer lo mínimo necesario. Disculpen el review tan largo, pero lo tenía atorado y necesitaba salir. :)

This place is honestly amazing! Stunning pool areas and rooms. We had the gorgeous swim out room. Breakfast with a view. Love the beach area, stunning sunset. Very warm welcome, great service and yummy welcome drink! Hope to visit again and wish we’d stayed longer. Only downside is that it’s at bit far from the city centre.

The room was great and spacious. The hotel was recently taken over by a new hotel group and we’re in transition. The breakfast was great but the menu and food at dinner were less desirable. Hope they can work out the kinks. Pool area is lovely, rest of the property needs attention.

The suite I booked had a small pool, and I was told it was the only one with heated water, which was a lie. There were so many flies at lunchtime that it was almost impossible to enjoy the food. I asked for salsa but they never brought it, I asked for no mushrooms in my eggs and they put them in anyway. Very poor service.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The room was spacious enough, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. Breakfast, which was included, was good and enjoyable. However, we also tried having dinner at the restaurant and found the food to be very mediocre, especially considering the hotel’s standards. One important thing to consider is the location. The hotel is quite far from downtown, and each trip costs around 200 pesos, which adds up quickly. The beach in front of the hotel is small and not ideal for long walks, unlike the other side of the island (my last stay), which ended up being my favorite. Additionally, there was ongoing construction on the beach as part of the hotel’s expansion, and the noise from the equipment was noticeable and disruptive at times. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, but the location, beach limitations, and construction noise are important factors to keep in mind when booking.

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på hotellet! Det var jättemysigt, snyggt inrett och hela anläggningen kändes både fräsch och väl omhändertagen. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och man kände sig verkligen ompysslad under hela vistelsen. Hotellet ligger lite utanför stan, men vi hyrde cyklar och tyckte att det fungerade hur bra som helst. Dessutom var läget perfekt för soluppgångar – helt magiskt! Det ligger dessutom nära stranden, som var lugn och inte alls överfull. Även poolområdet var väldigt trevligt och inbjudande. Jag skulle varmt rekommendera det här hotellet till alla som vill ha lugn och ro, god mat och möjlighet att njuta av härliga soluppgångar. En riktigt härlig upplevelse!
