10/10 Exceptional

We booked our stay here for it's close proximity to Easton Lake for Stand Up Paddleboarding. But we were pleasantly surprised by our experience at SRR. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room although cozy, was big enough and in excellent shape. The community bathrooms were good-sized and extremely clean and well equipped. There is a modest, but complete community kitchen (I never found the beautiful commercial kitchen that you see in their photos) on the ground floor with a gas grill outside, so we were able to cook and eat our own food. This would be advisable as the nearest restaurant is probably 10 miles away. We had a very nice stay while we were here. If they receive enough snow in the winter, I think it would be a fantastic place to cross-country ski and then relax and cozy up next to a fire in either of the two lodge areas.

2/10 Poor

This is my opinion. I wouldn't share but I think a warning is warranted. The Dome is to hot to occupy at all until at least 5pm. So what you get for your $150 is a bench surrounded by a ton of camp sites right next, trash on the ground, space not swept out and a long walk to the toilet. To top it off, the door, that faces the other tents, is clear so, no privacy. Just be prepared and all will be well.

I stayed at Silver Ridge Ranch for 2 nights and unfortunately had a very negative experience with the management. The manager, Jennifer, behaved in a way that I found inappropriate and concerning. Although I had already paid in advance through a third-party site (Expedia), she repeatedly called me and insisted that I needed to pay her directly. I do not understand why this happened, but it was stressful and unprofessional. It felt like she was collecting unnecessary personal information and harassing me about payments that had already been completed. This behavior made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and I want to warn future guests to be cautious. The property itself may be fine, but the management’s conduct was not adequate and left me with a very bad impression.

The yurt was fantastic, and the weather was perfect for it. Super clean, ample parking, everything you need. Just bring your own towel and the shower is a bit far from the tents. Bathrooms were clean. Sites are well spaced out. The host that checked me in was beautiful...I'd marry her in a heart beat. The guy directing traffic was super helpful. Will definitely stay there again! Highly recommended!
