Just returned from a great stay at The Close, stayed in the Swallow room and it was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was outstanding with a great choice of options, quality was top notch. Have to say the gardens to the rear and the terrace were a real joy with the good weather and added to a great stay.

Fabulous old Cotswold charm encased in an understated luxury. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Amenities were good. Hotel is in the centre of Tetbury and has a small car park at the rear which is spectacularly convenient. Food was good and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend

Check in not until 4pm but checkout is still 11am, which they state on booking but is a little late compared with other hotels. Nice character hotel, however, our room was at the front of the hotel and unfortunately the Main Street is busy with quite a bit of traffic noise for most of the day, starting from 6:30am. Bathroom was tired and cleanliness was average. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful.

We loved our stay at the Close Hotel. Right from check in to check out the experience was warm and welcoming. The staff are great, always at hand to when you need them, but never too close to feel overwhelmed by them. We had a lovely spacious and quiet room. Loved the Nespresso machine and little treats. The breakfast was very good as was the evening menu, plenty to choose from and very tasty. We had our little dog with us and we were all made to feel very welcome. We would happily return for another visit!

We were upgraded to the Cuckoo suite which was lovely overlooking the lit gardens. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The Close breakfast menu was also very good with lots of choice, we had Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine which were very nice.
