For the two of us the location was great, and the staff was very nice. For an ADA room there were no handicap grab bars in the bathroom, there was a jacuzzi bathtub that did not work, and was a hazard stepping over to get in shower without grab bars. The hot water in the shower turns to scalding hot without warning. The room does not have any luggage stands so you need to lay your suitcases on the floor, there are no lamps on the desk or on an odd dresser below the tv, only bright ceiling recessed lighting. You have to ask for a hair dryer at check in, and return it when you check out. These are not major issues and can be easily remedied by the owners. All in all we would stay again, basically do to the location and free parking.

Great stay definitely recommend

First time staying here and we will definitely be back. My son had brain surgery Emergent UCSF , we came in from Sacramento CA. I found the hotel while I was sitting in his pre-op room. I called and asked if we can check in early. The front desk manage (I believe); said yes and he had the room cleaned early for us. It was so quiet in the neighborhood. We will be back in a few months for his second surgery,and will be staying here again. Nice Management and staff.

Clean, quiet, centrally located

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn on Grove. I took off one star because the first time we asked for service, room cleaning, it didn’t happen in a timely manner meaning we left so it could be cleaned but when we came it had not been serviced. Otherwise, the room was quite nice, spacious, surprisingly quiet, and had a Jacuzzi tub. Front desk people were extremely nice. Tons of great options for food nearby.Would return.

Good price, good space, beds uncomfortable.

Two teens, two adults. We had a room with 2 king beds which was great and the space in the room was good, it felt roomy enough. The beds, however, were SO uncomfortable and had a plastic crinkle noise which was annoying. There was also no way to fully block out the light at night while sleeping. There were no hair dryers, but they can be requested at the front desk. As with every hotel room ever, there needs to be some hooks for coats and in the bathroom to help get stuff off the table/desk area! The front desk people were nice and let us keep our luggage in the closet before our room was ready.

In need of a makeover.

This place is in need of a make-over. The door to our room was so ill fitting that you could see light all around it. The walkway on the third floor coming off the elevator was very uneven and a tripping hazard. The area was acceptable and the free parking helped makeup for its short comings.

Pleasant stay

The room and bed were comfortable, suitable for a one night stay in a quiet neighborhood. Only complaint are the thin walls but overall quiet throughout the night.
