Hidden gem

Great setting with nice room and views. Restaurant was great. Only complaint is the pillows and our room didn’t have enough TP.

6/10 Good

Hotel really has great potential, beautiful waterfront view, interesting history, but it is dated. (Furniture, doors, carpet, bathrooms etc. Lobby is nice though.) Did not know we would be sharing building / floor with unhoused people. I'm happy that Bayside is helping them get into housing, but I wish it was clearly disclosed on Hotels.com or on hotel website. Given all the above, rooms are not cheap. Also, was a little freaked out that there had been a fire last summer on the floor above us (you can still see soot above the window) and the automatic smoke alarms did not trigger! The fire dept had to manually pull the alarm. Found the article on the fire online after seeing the soot.

Wonderful View & Location

Our room was very clean, with great view of the marina & bay. We enjoyed our deck in the morning & evening. Staff was very friendly. We would visit again. It was a good location, close to Port Townsend. Liked that they help houseless locals who are in need.
