Very good host yet not suitable for families.

The hosts were amazing, super nice and always there for help. However the cleanness wasn't the best, didn't change towels at all, and all that idea of living together with a shared bathroom (which isn't shown at first as u order) is not so comfortable for family. In the room there are only beds, no place to put your clothes nor stuff at all. It is a good idea for young people that travels by themselves. The Area is super, it is on a pretty much quite yet central street, and by walking several minutes you are at the heart of Barcelona.

The two ladies at front desk are not helpful, friendly or informed. I'm not sure what there purpose was. It is an apt bldg, I stayed on 2nd floor, the host for that floor is sweet, helpful, but not always available for computer or printing boarding passes, thank goodness there is taxi service right outside hotel. The worst is finding out hotel. After hotel confirmation and payment, I learned that it is a shared bathroom! I find international hotels are not accurate pictures and details on the site. Room was clean and quaint, many sites, shopping, eating spots within walking distance. Hop on Hop off tour eith Bustouristic was best. Beautiful city, Barcelona.

Barcino 147

We stayed 4 nights in this central location within walking distance of La Rambla, Place de Catalunya, Casas Milà and Batllo. We were close to several metro stops on different lines & reached Parc Guell & Montjuïc in no time. Breakfast was simple but filling ( bread, cereal, croissants, fruits, jams, cheese, fruit juice, yoghurt, decent coffee etc. The staff were friendly & approachable. Although we had no problems during our stay, another guest was poorly the night before flying out. I contacted the owner who responded quickly by sending one of the staff which reassured the guest & her family. A doctor wasn't required in the end. I felt completely safe in & around the hotel & this lovely B&B definitely contributed to a lovely break. The bed was far too comfortable but this is not really a negative point!

We stayed in the suite in the owner’s apartment. It was beautiful. Had its own bathroom. A standard European breakfast was served every morning. It was good. Location is excellent. Very close to Palau de la Musica. Ferran was a very friendly and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Stay at Barcino 147.

I got a room next to the bathroom. Major part of night it was being used by guests. Shared bathroom. Which I did not realise when I booked. So did not sleep whole night. The owner then took me to his residence for the remaining two nights. I would not stay there again. The breakfast also started around 8. Although you could have cereals. I would have preferred hot breakfast from 7.

No lo recomiendo , muy mala experiencia

No tuve una buena experiencia en este Apartamento ( No es un hotel!!!!). El lugar es un apartamento el cual el dueño alquila dormitorios los cuales no cuentan con baños privados y si uno quiere tener baño privado ( fuera del dormitorio) tiene que pagar un complemento de € 20. El dormitorio no cuenta ni con un placard para guardar la ropa , lo que sí tiene es un cristalero dentro de la habitación con unos jarrones dentro de él , que no sé para que lo tiene ya que lo único que ocupa es lugar. La verdad que no lo recomiendo ya que para lo que brinda el precio es excesivamente caro. Reservé 4 noches en este “dormitorio “ y me quedé sólo 1 ya que me fuí para otro HOTEL. Nunca tuve una llamada del dueño del “ dormitorio “ para saber porqué me qudé una sola noche . Por supuesto que no tuve devolución por los días que no ocupé “ el dormitorio “ No se lo recomiendo a nadie!!!!

Felt just like home

The hotel was comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. It is beautifully decorated. We had a room that had windows we could open onto the street below. The air conditioning worked well, and the room was well cleaned each day. We shared bathroom facilities, but this was no problem. The bathroom was kept clean at all times. The breakfast was simple, fresh and tasty with coffee, juice and mineral water. The cold water dispenser has really cold water available all the time and produces hot water for making tea. Shops are close by, and food and drinks can be kept in the shared kitchen fridge. I would highly recommend this bnb. It had a nice feeling about it - just like home.

Living in a real apartment in the city center

Great place to stay right in the center (we got to see all the independence activism first hand and no problems). Wonderful and interesting host. Nice suite; excellent breakfast and coffee etc available all day.

Ej för morgonpigga och svårt att hitta men fräscht

Säkert bra för turistande om man inte är morgonpigg. Frukost serverades först kl 8 vilket var för sent för mig som reste i jobbet. Mycket svårt att hitta entren som endast var en trappuppgång med en liten skylt vid sidan. Fräscht rum och lugnt och tyst trots att det ligger vid gran via. Fick ett rum med eget badrum trots att jag bokat ett med delat badrum vilket var positivt.

Good location

Didn't feel like a B and B. I was traveling solo and chose a B and B to have some company, some interaction. I stayed three nights. I only saw anyone at check in and last morning breakfast. Otherwise, I was on my own. I did have phone numbers to call for staff. The owner I never saw although staff told me to call if I wanted additional advice.
