The room was big, the shower as well. The street to the hotel is closed for cars and only open to busses. Parking is hard but some streets are free to park. The entrance is a little hard to find. There was no (mini) fridge available. Over all it was a good place to stay for two nights.

Very easy and nice way to see Kristiansand. You can walk to the center. Parking nearby no issue and very close to the Denmark ferries.

Too complicated and inaccurate listing

Booked through Hotel.com and information was inaccurate on checkin and checkout (times and web apps). KRS staff helped resolve but took phone calls and texts throughout stay to ensure we could get in and check out at expected time. Pullout couch had no sheets available and after 10pm there is no service to request. Marks and hair on bathroom walls that suggested unit not thoroughly cleaned but otherwise clean. Nice to have space in apartment and location is nice; away from crowds but just beyond walkable with luggage to station.

Getting the proper name for the hotel’s app would have been helpful. I had to send a message, but the answer was prompt.

I used 1,5 hrs to get into the hotel. Had to register a lot of personal info, get an app,could still not get in because it was no reception. The app key was broken. I got an emergency number and that person was really helpfull but I had to call him everytime I left the room even when I came home in the midlle of the night.

Also zunächst muss man festhalten, dass das Q42 weniger ein echtes Hotel ist, als vielmehr eine Art Airbnb. Es gibt keine Rezeption. Die notwendigen Informationen zur Nutzung der Türöffner App und derartiger Details war mangelhaft. Parkzone zum Ein- und ausladen - Fehlanzeige. Man steht mit seinem Auto direkt an der Bushaltestelle und muss schnell seine sieben Sachen ausladen. Parkhaus ist um die Ecke. Das Zimmer war nett eingerichtet, die Wände aber sehr hellhörig. Es gibt leider keinen Frühstücksraum und auch kein echtes Frühstück, sondern nur ein paar Sachen aus dem Etagenkühlschrank. Also das geht gar nicht. Für meinen Geschmack stimmen Preis/Leistung auf keinen Fall.

Praktisk når man trenger en overnatting. Ingen frokost inkludert, kontaktløs innsjekking men problemfri innsjekk og lett å finne. God plass på rommet.
