My husband and I have stayed at the Coho a handful of times over the past decade and honestly, we feel like the price is not worth the quality anymore. After our most recent trip, I don’t think we’ll be going back.
Pros: The bed and pillows were comfortable. The fire pits were relaxing to sit by whilst watching the sun set. The location is close to shops and restaurants. The front lobby is clean and updated.
Cons: Where do I begin…the bathroom is the size of a hall closet. There was also no fan in the bathroom so you had to shower with the door open in order to breathe through the steam. The shower was also SO CREAKY, you could not step anywhere in the shower without extremely loud creaks. The floor did not feel sturdy at all. We are average sized people, and we still both thought the tub was going to fall through the floor.
The parking was also not great. There’s over 100 rooms but 15 parking spots.
The a/c in the room also did not work. We even had to have maintenance come and “fix it” but still, the room never got below 71 even though we had the thermostat set to 68. It was HOT.
The windows wouldn’t open more than 4 inches either!!!!!!! We couldn’t get any airflow or breeze unless we left our room door open to get a cross breeze. I get the safety aspect but my goodness, THERE WAS NO BREEZE AND AC DIDNT WORK!! With the curtains open and the sun shining in, the room got up to 74 at times.
