Beautiful and elegant hotel

Wonderful hotel. Beautifully appointed room, very large and comfortable. Clean and tastefully decorated. Staff was friendly. Location was perfect, close to many restaurants and within easy walking distance to the Acropolis. We look forward to staying there again!

Property is tucked away in a nice part of town. Convenient to acropolis. Dimitri at the hotel went out of his way to make our accommodations nice. We booked wrong arrival date and he adjusted it as best as he could given the fact that we booked through a 3 rd party. He upgraded my room since I covered the cost of my mistake. Would stay there again

We found La Divina to be a very beautiful property in a very convenient location in Athens. We loved the renovation of the building with the exposed brick walls and the combination of old and new. The breakfast every morning in the beautiful courtyard, was delicious. The front desk staff was always very pleasant and helpful (especially one evening when my husband wanted to see a doctor about a sore throat). The location in Plaka made walking to all the tourist attractions very easy. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

The safe made the stay perfect so friendly and went above to help us make dinner reservations. The breakfast was delicious and was brought to our room 2 days because it was to cool to eat outside. But when it warmed up it was a really nice area to eat. I recommend the cappuccino. We stayed in the suite and the view of the Acropolis was amazing. I stay at the La Divina again.

Amazing experience. Stayed in the Ava Maria which was a small room but with sizeable balcony. Had a good view of the parthenon but was slightly obstructed by a building next door. you could also see the Temple of Haphestus(sp) and Friendly staff. Interesting property that was a unique blend of old and new. Nice breakfast included with our stay. Couldn't have been happier

We would happily stay here again

Good Points; 1. This lovely boutique hotel has only been open for one year, so the decor and furnishings are in excellent order. 2. It's in a super convenient location, just steps from the Thiseio metro station, The Ancient Agora of Athens and the lower slopes of the Acropolis so we walked, or took the subway, to everything we wanted to see. 3. Staff were incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. 4. Breakfast was fabulous and well worth E20 per person. Choices are plentiful, food of a very high standard, portions generous and one can eat either in the sunny outdoor courtyard, or in one's room. 5. Rooms were impeccably clean. Less good points: 1. La Divina sits above a restaurant that is not associated with it. We were in the Carmen Suite at the front of the hotel, which is a stunning suite with lovely views, but noise from the restaurant (especially on the weekend) meant that I was glad to have packed ear-plugs. If you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest that you ask for a room away from the front of the hotel. 2. There were intermittent problems with the boiler during our stay, so hot water wasn't always available. Hopefully, this has now been fixed. 3. There was liquid soap (and shampoo and conditioner) in the shower, but a bar of soap for the vanity. This was replaced every day which is not very eco-conscious. I would prefer liquid soap for the vanity. 4. Our vanity area needed some hooks for toiletries bags, robes etc.

Wonderful, clean and newly refurbished hotel. Lovely and helpful staff. Great location right on the edge of the tourist area with lots of restaurant options and 2 mins’ walk to the metro. Highly recommended! Only small negative is that the breakfast is at the restaurant next door and is the same every day with only the option of eggs or pancakes, but for a stay of a few days it’s not a huge problem and the restaurant staff are lovely.

What a magnificent hotel. It is modern with old stone wall charm left through out the resort. We stayed in the room with the larger patio with the hot tub, what a great treat that was. There is so much to do within walking distance! The staff was very polite and professional!

The hotel was a delightful stay! The room and overall decor was impeccable, tastefully and elegantly appointed! The concierge service went above and beyond with Dimitris and Christina arranging site seeing and taxi service for us. A served traditional breakfast was provided at an adjoining restaurant! The location was fabulous with views of the Acropolis from our jacuzzi on our private patio. It was grand to sit there after our day listing to music from the local restaurants as we talked of our day.. Above all that was the location within walking distance to the archeological sites - many of which were literally across this pedestrian, restaurant lined street! We will be returning!

La Divina is an absolute exquisite property in a divine location. It is the nicest property that I have ever stayed at. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The design and architecture is opulent and cozy. It is a premium priced property and well worth the extra cost. The property does not have an elevator; however, an attendant anticipates your arrival and is waiting at the entrance to whisk your luggage to your room. The attendant even carried our luggage to the taxi stand at the end of the stay. Breakfast is provided at a local restaurant, so take that option as it is delicious. La Divine will be my go to property when in Athens.
