Convenient, bright and functional room, but tight

Cozy apartment, conveniently located in Earl’s Court, short walking distance to the tube. The place is small but has most of what you need. Appreciate the small cooktop and microwave so we can prepare simple meals and breakfast. Despite the double glazing windows, road noises can still be heard. It was fine for me, but for others this maybe an issue. The blinds are not full shades, so it gets bright when sun is out. The elevator was out of service for the entire time of our 7 days stay (does not seem will be fixed anytime soon), so do be prepared to walk up stairs. The manager was very responsive and helpful. Very nice guy and he even helped us carry our luggage down the stairs at check out (since the elevator was still out). I do appreciate that very much. All in all, it’s a fine place to stay on budget. It’s no frills and expect to be in tight quarters. If noise and walking stairs are not an issue, then it’s a good deal. But may not work for everyone.

Handy place to base yourself in London

Extremely handy to transport options in Earls Court, the rooms are well appointed with lots of storage options. There is a virtual front desk, but any requests are responded to in a timely manner.

We stayed at the Kensington Stay for 3 nights and overall it was a lovely stay. Amenities were good, the accommodation itself is a couple of minuite walk from the tube stop which is really handy and it felt very safe! Only thing to note is that we had a ground floor room and the traffic outside was pretty loud so I'd recommend bringing earplugs with you if you're a light sleeper!

Clean, but tiny - still comfortable and recomended

Tiny room and bathroom and not well equipped «kichen». Very clean scandinavian style furnished. Plenty of storage. Close to the underground. Make sure to use the Warwick str exit! If not, take left and left again at the main exit. My granddaughter of 9 and I enjoyed our stay. Very nice manager. Thank you.

Great budget base

Great little base for exploring London or going to shows as we were. Positives, the room was clean, plenty of storage and had everything you need for a couple of nights including AC. Negatives, they could invest in some better blinds as they block out no light, lift was broken and we were on the top floor, fridge door doesn't shut properly so took ages to get cold. And there was a terrible smell coming from somewhere in the bathroom plus the extractor didn't work so smelt pretty bad all weekend in there. Think we were in room 9

Reasonable room

Located in an area for easy access to everything in LOndon. The check in was easy and allowed us to check in 2 hours earliar than standard check in time which was very nice. Room is small with a fridge, electric hob. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is small however clean and adequate. Shower head needs replacing as lime scales preventing water flow. Room is clean enough for my taste. Air conditioning is a massive plus. The room can be decorated with some nice paining or so. No iron or ironing board. Overall, I had a pleasent stay and would consider staying again.

Great location

Brilliant location only five mins from Earls Court Station and facilities were good too. Great communication in advance of arrival as no staff present. Only slight downside is that the road is incredibly busy even at night and so suffers a little with traffic noise.

Perfect

Quick overnight trip with my daughter for a concert. This room was exactly what we needed. Perfectly located for transport links. Perfect size room with kitchenette, microwave, fridge, sink and hob. Building was quiet although there is traffic noise- it’s in the centre of the city so to be expected. Plenty of storage if you were planning on a longer stay. Shower and bathroom was great. Iron available if you phone reception- number on the wall in the foyer. Will definitely book again.

Der var en del larm fra den nærliggende togstation. Det er selvfølgelig svært at ændre på men personalet kunne overveje at skrue ned for larmen om morgenen. Allerede fra en 7-tiden og frem, smækkede de med dørerne, bumpede rundt med ting og snakkede højlydt ude på gangen. Det var ærgerligt.

Enkel og god standar for en uke i London

Reiste på budsjett til London. Hotellet var som beskrevet og holdt god standar ifht pris. Vennlig personale/ renholdere. Enkel innsjekk med kodedør. Stod at vi måtte sende bilde og pass info til hotellet i forkant- det hadde jeg glemt, men det gikk fint. Sjekket e-post fra hotellet og der var all info vi trengte for å sjekke inn- veldig enkelt. Fint og rolig område med T-bane like ved, ca 2 min å gå. Enkelt og komme til og fra Heathrow flyplass. Busstopp like utenfor døra. Rommet var lite, men hadde alt vi trengte. Rent og lyse duse farver. Behagelig dusj, det var også hårføner i en skuff. Hengeskap med plass til klær, lite te-kjøkken med basic utstyr- kaffekopper, fat, gaffel og kniv. Var vannkoker og instant kaffe/ te. Håndduker som ble byttet etter 2 dager. Vårt rom hadde en god dobbelseng - og dobbeldyne, som for vår del var litt minus, men god kvalitet, og gode puter. Vindu som kunne åpnes. Bodde i 3 etg. Det var heis, men den var ute av drift, så måtte bære opp koffertene. Gikk greit. Lytt ut til gangen, men var stort sett stille og rolig. Ikke tumleplass på rommet men vi skulle ikke oppholde oss så mye der så det var helt greit. Også flere koselige restauranter i nærområde. Ville absolutt bodd her igjen. Både hotellet og området kan absolutt anbefales, om man ønsker å bo rimelig, med god men enkel standar. Bildene på Hotels.com gir riktig inntrykk og viser rommet slik det fremstår.

Sadly I had a poor stay. The room I was allocated leaked its air con all over the bed, soaking through to the mattress. It looked like it had been leaking a while as the wall was very damp. I called reception and they moved me to a much smaller room with no sockets near the bed. The TV wasn’t wired in, so the maintenance came to fix it so we had power but no actual reception to receive any TV!! Very disappointing all in all. The guy who came to my room was very respectful which was appreciated.
