The hosts are so interesting and welcoming to us travellers. The gardens were outstanding and very diverse in their designs. We loved the breakfast and particularly talking to the hosts while filling us up! Brilliant place to stay!!!!!

6/10 不错

The host was lovely and checked several times whether we needed breakfast. Parking was right at the front and worked well for our small car. Our room had its own bathroom, clean towels, and tea with milk and sugar. For £75, it had everything we needed. The main issue was a very strong musty smell in the room. The leaflet said the house was built around 1777, so we expected an older building, but the smell lingered all night. We both had sore throats, and it even stayed in our hair; we had to leave our clothes in the car so they won’t smell. There was no air freshener in the room. The host and facilities were good, but the smell would make us hesitate to stay again. The furniture was old which didn’t help (some stains on beds and other furniture).

Lovely setting for what is becoming a rarity in a real B&B. Our hosts, Yolanda and Roger treated us as part of the family and looked after us really well. We were invited to look at what I would describe as a showcase garden, and felt as if we were in a manor park! The breakfast was copious and as interesting as you like, with a very varied menu, including local produce and good home cooking. It was a pleasure to have met such a couple who are kind and generous characters, that have a wealth of knowledge and experiences!

The property had amazing gardens. The house itself was a bit dated, not that we minded, but it had everything we needed and the host was so helpful. Lovely breakfasts with home made jam went down a treat
