The location of the flat is absolutely perfect nearby so many restaurants options , shopping , walking distance from the Villach HBF station. The apartment is in a very good condition, kind of new , kitchen appliances are available, no washing machine though and no AC and it can be very hot. I recommend adding a long mirror and doors stops as doors keep shutting off . One downside is there is a Mexican restaurant in the ground floor and it can be noisy.

We completed the online check-in form in advance, but it did not go through immediately, so we continued communicating with the host through Hotels.com. Communication was fine until our arrival, but when we actually tried to enter, it might have been difficult if we had not happened to meet a member of the cleaning staff. The instructions, map, and access code were all accurate. However, when the staff member helped us contact the host by phone, we were told that our passport information had not been received, despite our previous messages about it. Thankfully, with her help, we resolved the issue and checked in successfully. Apart from the check-in issue, we were very satisfied. The apartment looked exactly like the photos, was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The location was also great, on a wide street with very little car traffic. It was generally quiet, although some construction work made it noisier toward the end of our stay. The facilities worked well, and there was plenty of dishwasher detergent. We had understood that laundry facilities were available, but we could not find a washing machine. We are not sure whether we misunderstood the listing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The local cleaning staff member was especially cheerful, friendly, and helpful, and left a very positive impression on us.

The kitchen had basics but missing a few utensils such as a bottle opener or corkscrew, spatula or serving spoon. We improvised. Also some light bulbs were out. Great location in the heart of old town, but be aware that there is a lively Mexican restaurant below (good food but noisy) and the street doors were often wedged open. Wouldn’t want to stay there with very young children or as a lone female.

This property boasts an absolutely perfect location – truly in the middle of everything! We loved being able to step out and be right in the heart of the action, with attractions, restaurants, and shops all within easy reach. The self check-in process was incredibly easy and smooth, which made our arrival hassle-free and convenient. Inside, the property was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only minor drawback we experienced was the lack of air conditioning. It happened to be a super hot day during our visit, and the heat was quite noticeable indoors. However, despite this one issue, we genuinely enjoyed our stay overall! The fantastic location and the cleanliness of the property certainly made up for it. We would still recommend it, perhaps with a note to check the weather forecast for warmer months!

En mysig lägenhet centralt i Villach. Vi promenerade smidigt till lägenheten från tågstationen. Lägenheten kändes nyrenoverad och var väldigt fin. Vi fick inte igång ventilationen ordentligt vilket gjorde att lägenheten var lite väl varm mitt i juli. I övrigt en toppenfin lägenhet.
