Great stay

We have nothing but positive to say about our stay at Four Points by Sheraton Lagoi Bay, Bintan. The resort is new and modern and very airy providing a truly relaxing atmosphere the moment we stepped off the shuttle bus from the jetty. Staffs were super attentive and provided beyond 5-star customised service to us ensuring our stay was a truly memorable one. Rooms were spacious with a great ocean view; the balcony was comfy. Overall the cleanliness of the resort was good however there were some teething issues like towels availability, replacement of amenities which could be better finetuned. Understandably this is a relatively new resort so these issues could be revolved and improved once the resort operations gain more experience and a bit more training. Thanks to the entire team’s hospitality! We truly enjoyed our stay.

Best Getaway ever

The property is fantastic. Best vacation ever. The restaurant team was especially sweet and made us a welcome cheese-cake as we as family were meeting for the first time in Indonesia. Outstanding property, outstandibg services. Will come back FOR SURE.

Nice beach & food but need better maintenance

The beach is very beautiful with snow white sand. The hotel is very new but depreciates quickly with blister on the wall in our room and the door to the balcony doesn’t work well. Dehumidification in ac is not good. The pillows and quilts are a bit wet during our stay and I got insect bites on bed. The pool is nice but have to pay attention to those loose drain covers near the pool. I almost fell when I stepped on a loose drain. The breakfast is really nice with lots of options. Had a chance to try different local food and drinks which we haven’t never seen in Indonesian restaurants nearby.

Need improvements

I chose this hotel because it's relatively new. It was indeed new but the room condition is not recommendable due to strong moldy smell and dusts on the floor and shelves. I saw spider net at the corner of the room floor. Staff were friendly and nice but overall service is slow and less organized. Breakfast restaurant was not yet cleaned by the open time and staff were still cleaning the floor at 7am or later. Hope the operation and cleaning stansart will improve.

I have one way to describe our stay… “when can we book our next stay” !! From the pre trip check in on our ferry timings to the pick up and drop at the hotel, the welcome and seamless check in. It was A+ customer service all the way. The hotel is new and everything is very well managed. The spa was great- we had the signature and herbal treatment, they also made a last min schedule change as per our request. The hotel has a wonder and huge pool with a restaurant catering to drinks and food pool side with a continental menu. The main restaurant in the hotel serves local cuisines but the very highlight is the breakfast spread. It’s sooo sooo sooo soo good, and very generous. It was my birthday, and the staff had decorated the room so beautifully. We stayed in the ocean terrace king room and wow, not to mention the huge balcony! The view was stunning. This review would not be completed without mentioning Indra who welcomes us and is such a talented mixologist. The smiles on the Sheraton staff faces and the unbelievable hospitality make this an epic epic trip! Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

It is a nice brand new hotel with very comfortable rooms surrounded by garden like landscape where you can walk or bike on a paved trail around a lake and the other green parks in this large resort. It would be nice to see some water sports on this calm and clear water lake. Breakfast is great! Lunch and dinner cuisines however should need some improvements. Good job Four Points!

Very nice, spacious complex with a large pool area; extensive breakfast buffet, extremely friendly, courteous and helpful staff in all areas, restaurants with an appealing selection of dishes. Spa area with expert treatment. All in all, our eight-day stay was a complete success and we can recommend the resort without reservation.

A Gem in Bintan

The service was outstanding especially at breakfast. The buffet is amazing even by Asian standards. There were at least 4 different types of buffets at breakfast. The chef went out of his way to accomodate dietary needs. The resort was tranquil and peaceful. The pool was stunning. The only downside is men attending conferences who sit around the pool on deck chairs smoking. Attendees also block access to new pool towels and return of used towels. Everything is good and top notch about this hotel. Hotel room is clean, view was great (seeing the ocean), staff is extremely friendly and helpful (even kids said that). Food - breakfast was very good too. However, as there are limited things to do in the hotel premises, family with kids will have to arrange to go out which hotel also help to arrange. However, transportation is very expensive, for example, arranging transport just to eat seafood may cost around 350,000 (rupiah). Activities outside hotel may be quite costly too, for example, the entrance fee to Safari Zoo is around 150,000 per pax, and feeding package will cost 350,000. So do remember to do your research first before going!
