Bellevue is great! Let's be clear - this is the only "normal" hotel for many miles around. Don't even try to search for anything else. Try to visit Bellevue and see its real beauty, despite the feeling of slightly aged and outdated building (yet nicely renovated and very comfortably furnished rooms) and despite the sleepy town outside the active summer season while far too bustling in the summer. The staff is wonderful, both at reception and restaurant. The breakfast is great, with some super sweet touches that you cannot see in other Swedish hotels. Go there and you will see!...

The location was beautiful but in early September there was no one about and very few places to eat or drink in Hjo The hotel was popular but only with older retired people. It felt like the hotel and town was about to close for the winter

Beläget Hotell har ett fantastiskt läge precis vid Vättern, och vårt rum med sjöutsikt var utan tvekan vistelsens höjdpunkt. Rummet var rent, fräscht och det gick inte att klaga på själva boendet. Däremot levde helhetsupplevelsen inte riktigt upp till priset. För omkring 2 000 kronor per natt förväntar jag mig en frukost som känns genomtänkt och lite mer omsorgsfull. Det märkliga var att nästan allt fanns där, men ändå blev känslan oväntat trist. Keso serverades i små pappmuggar, baconet såg ovanligt mörkt och oaptitligt ut, och mycket gav ett lite anonymt och sorgligt intryck. Det är svårt att sätta fingret på exakt vad det var, men frukosten förde tankarna mer till en enkel skolmatsal än till ett hotell i den här prisklassen. Det som räddade frukosten var möjligheten att grädda egna våfflor – de var riktigt goda. Men i övrigt lämnade frukosten tyvärr en känsla av att den saknade både omtanke och kvalitet. Med hotellets fina läge finns det stor potential, men just nu känns pris och upplevelse inte riktigt i balans.
